You can't really stop it from not going bad, but if you have access to people that sell remote and can code it, you can take it to them to help you copy the code onto a new remote that you can keep as a spare
Thank you

Hello guys

My friend's Starplus 220Ah tubular battery (2) no longer holds power beyond 24hours.... It's a bit disappointing as she expected it to last between 5 to 6 years. According to her husband, it just clocked 3years of purchase/usage and it was well maintained (distilled water, clean surface, well airated Environment)

They are currently making use a smarten bravo 2000v/24v inverter connected to the grid.

Please can anyone recommend a good tubular battery (asides the expensive luminous brand)

I have scrolled through the net but there are so many new products out there..it's a bit confusing to say the least....Thanks in anticipation

Most in here would tell you it's because it's not Lithium battery BUT if we being Honest, we know it's due to yEyE brand of battery. I'm trying to be respectful to Alaba batteries else would have called it an Alaba battery

Buy yourself a good and tested brand of lithium phosphate battery (LifePO4).

Must it be Tubular ? why not Lithium.

As per your excluding of Luminious brands due to price, do note that you get what you pay for all things equal and this applies to all including Lithium batteries.

Currently set up a Solar system for a client some weeks ago to power 2 out of the 3 freezers for their frozen food business using Tubular batteries. My suggestion to them is to sell them off as fairly USEd every 2 to 3 years so it's still got enough juice for whoEver buys them. That way, their battery system remains healthy for long

I don't recommend tubular batteries. Go lithium.

if this person continues being CHEAP, then it really doesn't matter wether it's Lithium, Wet or Dry cell

Good evening house! I’m deciding on a 20kWh lithium battery + 10kVA inverter for my home. I need to pick between Felicity, Cworth, and Growatt — price is NOT a factor.
Please recommend the best based only on:
✅ Durability
✅ Reliability
✅ Performance
Short, clear verdict preferred. Thanks! 🙏

Battery from Deriy, SRNE, LVTOPSUN.

Inverter from Deye or SRNE. Leave Brands like Cworth and Felicity.

There is no reason to still use tubular in 2025 please. The least price for a reliable tubular is between 260k and 300k.Price of two comes to between 520k and 600k.

With 800k-850k you can get 24v 7kw LFP either from market or source from assemblers here.My candid advice. And if you want to stick to budget go for lower 24v LFP capacity like 5kw or 3.6kw

I use the Duravolt 5kva wall mount for my pumping machine and so far, about 5 months now no issues and my light is very low.As low as 140v at times.

The most important thing is not to overload the stabilizer.I dedicated the 5kva to just pumping machine because of low voltage in my area.Once the input voltage is below 160v most stabilizers do not operate at their full power rating ,hence it is best to always factor in this.

At that price it must be used I guess. I use a 5kva stabilizer to power my full house.

If your load is much avoid using wall socket connection. Get an electrician to design a circuit with a properly sized change over and possibly a breaker ( This suggestion is from experience of having repeatedly melted wall sockets)

I am not sure it's used.I bought my 5kva for 95k and review on same Jiji even has sellers posting same 10kva for 220k.

Alternatively, enter market Buy better Tokunbo socket, those types designed and used for electric cooker in the Kitchen. Use those even if na just Fridge / Freezer you intends powering.

You have a point. In my own case my only saving grace was doing the changeover + breaker thing.
