Frankenstein

Bloody good movie. I wonder why they havent adapted this movie into pop culture. All we keep seeing is the old Frankenstein and the likes.

I'd be nice to see a Frankenstein in 21st century. I mean with his superpowers and the likes.
Because that's actually the setting of the universe. Old and gothic. 19th-early 20th century settings at most.
Deviate too much from that and fans will revolt and avoid such.

You might probably see something more "modern" in upcoming M@ggi£ G¥llenh@@l The Bride! movie.

RE: First Man (2018)

“One small step for man... one giant leap for mankind.”

I don’t think there’s a piece of history that fascinates me more than the "Moon Landing". Recently, I went down a rabbit hole on YT suggesting that the whole thing might have been staged, so I decided to revisit what is perhaps my favourite dramatization of the event.

Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling have such a great filmmaker actor bond, and here, Ryan plays Neil Armstrong the first man to set foot on the moon. The film focuses more on Neil’s personal story than the moon landing itself, his struggles, family tragedy, and the weight of his mission. He wrestles with the reality that he might never return, and even NASA was aware of that risk, reportedly planning a “burial at sea,” just in case.

It’s such a technically brilliant film. The way it switches between Neil’s family life and the Apollo mission preparations is top-tier. The moon landing sequence itself is a thing of beauty , visually stunning, emotional, and tense. And what’s a Damien Chazelle film without a Justin Hurwitz score? He worked his magic once again. The track, aptly named “The Landing”, played during the lunar module’s approach to the moon, remains one of my favourite film scores ever.

Now, to the elephant in the room: the moon landing hoax theories. The evidence presented by the “moon landing hoax” brigade seems, at first glance, almost irrefutable. They argue that humanity wasn’t yet capable mathematically or technologically of achieving such a feat at the time. Some even claim that Stanley Kubrick directed the whole thing on a Hollywood set, especially since he had just made 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) a year prior.

NASA hasn’t done much to silence these claims either. These brothers were so eager to reach the moon at a time when the fastest computer on Earth probably had less than 2MB of RAM. Yet today, with our advanced technology and spacecraft capable of deep-orbit missions, a return to the moon is considered too evasive, expensive, and risky? The lack of urgency to go back definitely raises questions.

Anyway, this remains one of my favourite films ever, and if you’re interested in this topic, it’s an easy recommend. 🌑🚀

When I watched this it was very boring. A snooze fest.
I prefer the YouTube videos covering the hoaxes, I'm an avid Why files viewer among others.

I can totally see how it gets boring with all the build up prior to the moon landing from neutral standpoint, but therein lies the greater thrill for me.

Bruhhh...These YouTube hoax videos are out of control and they are completely armed with facts 😭😭, but then again, there isn't a greater story teller or film maker than a YouTuber trying to sell you a conspiracy theory for clicks, mann, i was dangerously close to believing a "man travelling through time hoax" one time, even i, had to applaud the dedication put into creating the illusion.

Basic Instinct (1992) - 9.4/10 🔵
Genre: Mystery, Thriller, Romance

Classic crime movies don't go any harder than this, recent movies will make you forget what good movies should actually look like!

Basic Instinct is a movie that gives you everything you look for in a perfect thriller flick, a movie that is brilliantly directed, well-written and beautifully shot – mad visuals!

While exploring the life of crime, sex, love, doubt, uncertainty, heartbreak, loss, drugs and other social issues, Basic Instinct didn't fail to deliver adequately in its 2 hours run-time. A lot of plot twists, suspense and turns you'd never expect, a real crime flick that shows the story, not just tell it.

Not forgetting the fact that Sharon Stone was illegally gorgeous, hot and devilishly brilliant in this now 33-year-old thriller, what a beauty! No one should be that charming! 😍

I'd recommend this anytime, any day, anywhere! It's a masterpiece! 💯 abduleez1, thanks mi hermano 😁😁

That's why I prefer that TWF YouTube page.
After his videos he tells you what are facts and what are speculations and advices viewers to always have a mind of their own.
