Laila Charani, one of Senator Ned Nwoko’s wives, has publicly accused her co-wife, actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drugs and being the cause of tension in their polygamous home.

In a fiery Instagram post captured by Very Nigerian, Laila denied ever receiving money from Regina, insisting she is content with what her husband provides for the family. “How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money to our accounts,” she wrote.

Laila alleged that Regina’s ongoing dispute with Senator Nwoko stems from his efforts to make her quit drugs and alcohol. “You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” she stated.

She further accused Regina of being a bad influence, claiming she introduced her to drugs six years ago and has since influenced house workers and family members.

“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family, giving drugs to nannies and our workers, including your younger sister Destiny,” Laila alleged.

The Moroccan-born wife added that her husband’s intervention saved her from addiction and warned that she would not allow her daughters near Regina unsupervised.

“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this,” she said.
