I watched the video of this clash and I must say that there is seriously something wrong with Nigerians in power and the Average Nigerian on the streets.

Even if wike the drunkard as people claimed was overzealously enforcing land clearance operations,the millitary officers impunity towards wike shouldn't be tolerated.Its only in Nigeria that the citizens are confused of what they want hence they don't even know what to clamour for.

The Soldier Challanging Wike Orders

As we all watched in the video,the soldier action was a gross violation of civil authority,we are not under millitary government as a matter of fact, its the millitary government that made Nigeria retrogressed so much that we can't even be were our mate developed countries who started at the same time are right now.For Nigerians to be celebrating millitary authority as a solution to Nigerian issues means something is definitely wrong with the brains of an average Nigerian.

If a soldier can disrespect a minister like wike openly, insulted a policeman who wanted to talk what now happens to be your hope as a common Nigerian in the hands of an overzealous rascal millitary officer.dont forget if u celebrate rascality today u too might be a victim tomorrow.

U Nigerians celebrating millitary overruling of civil laid down orders and protocols including that stupid VDM man that pledge to give that soldier a 1000 dollars for resisting civil orders need to have your heads all checked.

To emergency lovers they didn't see it in that angle because of hate for WIKE. Not knowing they are encouraging the uniform men against them (civilians)

Wike has been power drunk and he deserved what he got. Even if a mad man had slapped him, Nigerians would have celebrated. He is playing god and his principal cannot call him to order because he is indebted heavily to him for something most of us suspect.

Firstly, In military cadre Wike is one rank higher than the naval officer, ministers were army majors.

Secondly, Wike had no business being at the site, he wanted to prove a point, and it backfired. When protesters are dispersed the IG of police gives directives and his orders are carried out. Wike should have informed the police/DSS and let the law enforcement agency carry out its duties. Within the military there’s also military police for erring members.

Lastly, Nigerians lack norms, hostility should be condemned in all ramifications. A governor once asked his aide to slap a Muslim cleric nothing happened. A senator slapped an Uber driver, nothing happened, a governor and party chairman said on national TV that he hated a presidential candidate to the point that he should be informed to leave the state before the later came so his safety can be guaranteed.

We shouldn’t pretend like civility exists in the government. Wike is a bushman and can only be handled by hunters. If the object of defiance was a civilian Wike would’ve battered him and hypocritical Nigerians would’ve cheered him on.

To some extent you are right. But Wike has said that every avenue to get to the developers was made impossible by the military he had positioned. The Council task force went there and we're chased away. Wike being his kind if perse decided to go himself and did that under the cover of the media for the people to see the open impunity.
Tinubu himself has said it that the problem is not Wike but Nigerians who don't like obeying laws and orders.

Extremism bigotism and ignorance is a very very very big problem in Nigeria and it's as large as mount everest.

Millitary impunity is not a way to go,mali and the sahel staws that went down that way are currently regretting it in silence.

This is the point that most people are overlooking. If the person in question was a civilian, Wike would have ordered that the individual be locked up and the key thrown away.

You are abusing the presidential candidate you voted in 2023 presidential election. He has been reduced to Tombo dregs.
