Following Donald J Trump's threats to mete sanctions or militarily interfere in the fight against terrorists, the Foreign Affairs Minister, Tuggar have been on several media houses to shed more light on the peculiar situation Christians and Muslims face against terror.

One of such TV programmes is the Piers Morgan Show.

I appeared on @piersmorgan’s flagship programme, @PiersUncensored, where I presented a factual and contextual perspective on the misleading narratives and allegations of religious persecution in Nigeria.

My explanations, supported by verifiable data, may not have conformed to certain preconceived views. However, for the sake of integrity and transparency, it is essential that the full interview be aired exactly as recorded, without edits or selective omissions.

Nigeria’s truth must not be distorted to fit external biases.

That was very unnecessary from Tuggar. No need to be on the defensive even before the interview is aired. The inexperience continue to manifest. Nigerian politicians are not used to media scrutiny and drilling. They see it as an attack. The downsides of having a compromised and captured media in-country.

Why all these media rounds when you can easily change the narrative by showing workings

Interview is not out but you have started fighting.

Tuggar is preparing the ground for excuses like " The interview was doctored", "I was quoted out of context".

The Nigeria govt has proven to be incapable in handling the security challenges in the country.

External interference is very much needed at this point even if it's China or North Korea.

Hmmmmm . . . . . On this one I understand why Tuggar would pre-emptively insist. Because if indeed Piers was referring to the "Chibok boys" that is grounds to show his scant knowledge of the history of this matter. At the level of psychological combat the Minister would want that to be clear - namely that some of those either "poke-nosing" or adopting a judgmental stance as per happenings here, are really quite ignorant of happenings here.

What I have just said does not mean that I agree or disagree that there is Christian genocide please. Neither is it an opinion on whether or not there should be foreign intervention.

Disclaimer: I havent heard Piers "poke-nosing" on this matter.

The genocide is real and that is nothing but the truth except u want such genocide in ur life.
