Not that the bar is that high because them wan use slops and remake finish 2026 with the trailers that have been out, this week 😭..but we are looking at the "movie of the year, 2026" right here!!!.... Christopher Nolan has insane aura and traction, i was instantly moved when i saw this fgsss 😩😩😩😭😭

Yeah...He might actually be the last true cinematic autuer and purist in the industry because this is like when he needed all the Astrophysics calculations to checkout on "Interstellar" and relying less on CGI to bring it to life or the time he recreated real explosions on Oppenheimer, just for it to stay grounded with reality....He knows what he takes,...a mad man for sure, but the kind of madness you need to bring give one of the best literary works in history, a true cinematic treat it deserves 🙌🏿

James Cameron is supposed to be on his level, but that one is stuck making fking Avatar for the foreseeable future, like bro, i have totally forgotten what happened in the last one! 😭😭

For me I don't see James Cameron as Chris Nolan's peer. Nolan is far ahead.

I also don't get his obsession with the Avatar franchise for decades. At least, the film redefines visual spectacle the industry has ever known, but they just look too artificial for me.

Anyways let's see what Fire and Ash has for us this December.

2026 has several big movies but majorly sequels.
This one is surely breaking cultural zeitgeist when it arrives.

IMAX is already fully booked several months ahead for the premiere of this film.
Cinema chains are even adding and/or building more IMAX screens in their locations.

My own Koko is whether the filmmaker got the themes and characters "mostly" right and truly understand the story while giving their own interpretation in a unique way. Not too bothered about race or skin colour.

Some are hoping it flops...
But this is looking like an instant hit for me. I'm predicting nothing less than $250mn at the box office.... If it truly catches fire like I'm expecting, then we're seeing $350-450mn global gross.

Maybe because of my knowledge of history and all the images shown so far shows that this film is focused on entertainment than historical accuracy especially in the costuming.

This just gives another "This is Sparta-300" vibes.

I understand the need for profitability, however I also wish some authenticity comes with it.

Surely there should be a way to achieve both.

I saw "Toy Story" 5 trailer and i just gave up...this remakes and sequels era, is truly the worst...na Christopher Nolan genuinely holds the keys next year ngl plus DUNE part 3, that's if this WB takeover hullabaloo no make them postpone am.
