It's today I conclude that Nairaland is actually an enabler of tribalism. See the 2 comments in the picture attached. Same comment by two different people but one was left to fly while the other one was banned by the bot. Oga Seun, look into this as this shouldn't make you proud. It means the bot is programmed to ban one tribes comment against another with thesame level of aura.
Cry cry baby.

The bot knows I was saying the truth and you were lying 🤣🤣😂😂😂

Yoruba and Igbo are of the same stock .

They don't fight or kill themselves. They only yab themselves for betterment of the two ethnic groups.
We share nothing in common with Yorubas apart from Nigeria.

They are taught from kids by their parents to hate omo Igbos.
My neighbor is exceptionally mean. He blew up at my kids just for playing with his children. I calmed him down, but his reaction was totally out of line. Adults should be setting an example and teaching their kids tolerance, not passing down their personal baggage.

Even the yabbies between them they used to yab themselves is more of a joke that has come to stay. Yoruba will call Ibo omo okoro and Ibo too will call Yoruba omo Yoruba etc.....some will say Ibos always eat stone without drinking water and Ibos too will reply that oily stew people or amala and ewedu people.....all those are friendly yabbies.... I remember then when in the university, the way we used to laugh at ourselves......I never knew any discord between my Igbo school and room mates and the Yorubas...we do practically everything in common, same markets, same church, same same, even same night gig.....etc....
You don't know when Yorubas attacked and killed Igbos for coming out to vote on election day?

If Yorubas are so tribalistic, there won't be Igbos all over Yoruba land. Your submission is illogical. People don't move in large numbers an thrive in hostile environments.
Look around the world, people move to environments that are friendly and accommodating. Logic tells you that.
the Yorubas' inability to even move to other places speak volume about tribalism. There's no part of the country you'll go now without seeing an Hausaman, Igboman, but how many Yorubas are ready to leave their shores for common NYSC? Like you initially pointed out which indirectly contradicted your current position; that we all travel to Europe and America doesn't make the whites racist-free. The ability to leave your zone, region and comfort environment for a different place shows you have clear and detribalised mindset.

We all moved to the US , but until recently most blacks will never think of living in Alabama. In fact moce blacks moved up North after the slaves were freed because northerners were more accommodating in places like NY, Detroit and Chicago.
Even today, most blacks with good education and with papers will never think of living in Alabama, Mississippi, other. These are the more racist states. These happens to be some of the most racist states in the US.

Now, do you see many Americans moving to other countries? No! Because they know that the US has more opportunities than most other countries.
Same logic with Yorubas, why will I move to the SE or the North when the people in those regions are moving to Yoruba land on daily basis for better opportunities.
It's only logical for most Yorubas to prefer to stay in their region instead of moving to the other regions unless they find a very good opportunity. Which is what usually happens when you see a white person from Europe or the US in Nigeria or Africa. It's usually because they have found an opportunity that more than likely they don't have in Europe or the US. There's always an outlier or exception to every logic. So you will always find exceptions.

Nigerians should stop being scared of calling a spade a spade.

Nigerians enjoyed a relative love, unity and peace until Bola Tinubu nursed the ambition to become President of Nigeria around 2013/2014 through a mega party formation called APC.

Bola Tinubu and Lagos APC are the people behind the extreme wave of ethnicism in Nigeria. Buhari introduced it in federal government as a President, Tinubu institutionalized it.

Every other actors are supporting actors but the main plot is Bola Tinubu. If Tinubu loses 2027 Presidential election which is unlikely, you will see this whole new level of bigotry in Nigeria die a natural death.

Tinubu's nepotism is inspiring more Southwesterners to become more nepotistic

I'm a Nigerian and I don't give a damn about the part of the world where anyone comes from. It actually requires a lesser mind for someone to hate another because of where that person comes from. We are all one under Creation, I stand for peaceful Co existence anyday.

Complete crap.
I was once in Alabama many many years ago and d I had a car malfunction. This white guy was just too nice. He went out of his way to assist and made sure that I was able to continue my journey to Atlanta.
Does that mean that the vast majority of whites from Alabama are not racist?
Nope. Just an outlier in sampling.
Another true story. When I first started in IT back in the days, my black co workers were not willing to show me anything. A white guy with confederate license plate was my life saver. But reality is that most of the whites with confederate flags are pure racist and sees nothing wrong with slavery.

There are nice Igbos, my in law is one of them, but most are tribalistic and some have admitted to that fact using the war and other events for why they are that way.
The most tribalistic people on the Earth surface are Yorubas. No one comes close

That's a fat lie. An average Yoruba man will see black and say it's white just to defend his brother. Every Nigerian knows this as a fact

Yoruba has been good to everyone, from the time immemorial. Before and after the self inflicted biafra war,the only tribe that's wary of having things to do with others are igbos. We read and heard of many Yorubas volunteered to join the war in order to help the Easterners with an high hope, but regret, disappointment, hatred and betrayal is what they got in return. I learnt many Easterners still fond their properties intact, the Yorubas in Lagos and in part did same. But surprisingly, out Eastern brethren would still accuses and call the Yorubas all manners of names, especially when they sees them occupying any position in the Ngr project.
