Wike is just an apointee. He has Oga.
His oga will tell him what to do and he will go back to his office to carry out the order.
If the said land doesn't have prerequisites papers, Wike would be asked to prepare one.

Whereby Wike's oga has any personal interest in the property, it's a big property, concessions would be made here and there, and everything would be good again.

It's foolhardy to assume that tinubu would throw his Generals under the bus just to satisfy Wike's ego.
Mr man don’t speak from ignorance, go & read the land use act, in this land matter it stops with the governor, in this instance Nyesom Wike as the Minister of the FCT.

Go and talk to any body with knowledge of land matters they will tell u the admiral no get case, e no fit use military might or intimidation win this one.

After all said & done big man to big man, land full everywhere for Abuja, all he needs is Wike’s consent & everything will be alright, after this incident they will become very good friends based on mutual respect,

The law is the law, u no fit fight governor in this instance the minister of the FCT on land matters, u can never win.

Let your bad belle for Wike not cloud any sense of logical reasoning.

Military man go buy land designated for public purposes, he wants to turn into private use, The Governor (The Minister) challenged him that u cannot do that under the law, you are supporting the Admiral because you hate Nyesom Wike?

AMINDA:
The jokes write themselves. Wike is the inventor of impunity. Imagine him saying the Vice Admiral should have called him about the land, like Obasanjo and T.Y Danjuma had done. In other words, he wants to be lobbied so he can have the Vice Admiral in his debts and brag about it in a media chat 5 years down the line. Nigerians want strong institutions, not strong men.

You have a solid point here. Nothing more to add.

Which makes your constant defence of Nigeria's feckless military personnel all the more puzzling. undecided This country's military establishment is the embodiment of the 'strong man' philosophy. Every single day in this country, military personnel (through their speech and their actions) do something to undermine civilian institutions because 'bloody civilians' undecided are 'inferior' and deserve to be mistreated. The military in this country is the anti-institution.

givedemwotowoto:
The law has long been disregarded by people in office and it has reached an all time high within this administration.

If the law is compromised, people are forced to defend it themselves. As it stands right now, nobody can challenge Wike in any court in Abuja. No judge living in the estate he’s building for them will rule against him.

When the people elected or appointed to uphold the law are the ones breaking it, the law loses every meaning. And once the law becomes worthless, anarchy follows naturally. People begin to use other means to defend themselves because there’s no hope for them in a court of law which is supposed to be the hope of the common man.

This is true, sadly.

Agreed! Impunity, rascality and lawlessness has been in existence since antiquity. However, it became aggravated to abysmal levels with the advent of the APC in govt. From Nyesom Wike, Yahaya Bello, Ben Ayade,
When somebody is wrong condemn it, when the same person is right support him. Nobody is perfect.
