The worst thing for Tinubu to do is to support Wike and ensure the soldier is punished. That soldier has already won the support of the youth and many in the military thanks to his bravery and professionalism. Punishing him would backfire severely and could even propel him to become the head of state within a year or two.

Wike should swallow his pride and let this go. The soldier was following orders. If Wike has a problem, he should take it up with the person who gave the command, not the one who carried it out.

I word is enough for a wise person.

Not even Matawalle himself a bloody civilian, not to talk of Wike can command Yerima to stand down, the only person who can do that is Yerima commanding officer.
No one else, not even Tinubu the CIC.
If Tinubu wants to give Yerima an order, it depends on whether Tinubu values the office as CIC because it is an aberration to break the chain of command in the military and Tinubu the CIC will be humiliated by Yerima because Yerima will not obey the order from Tinubu.
The chain of command is for Tinubu to order the CDS, the CDS will order the CNS and the CNS to Yerima's commanding officer and then to Yerima.
This is how the military works, no sentiments emotion or empathy, a clear and straight chain of command.
In Nigeria, Tinubu can only appoint a General, Vice Admiral or Air marshal - CDS, CNS and CAS.
The CDS, CNS and CAS control the forces.
There is no shortcut in the military.
Help me inform Wike that military is not PDAPC.
Admiral Gambo knows that Wike has gone judge shopping and very soon Wike will bring a court order from either Justice Omotosho or Liman for that land, but Judge Omotosho or Liman will have to go to that same site to enforce that order.

Those fanning the foolishness of Wike should examine themselves if all is OK with them.

What will you say about the report of Wike allocating FCT lands to his cronies and family members including his son? As a public office holder, is he supposed to do that? That amounts to conflict of interest. Now, you see him barking and fighting anyone that possess land in choice locations, especially if that land was not issued by his administration. Wike is too biased and wicked to serve in any public office.
