Section 147 (3j recognizes indigenes of states

Section 46 4 (b) 1 also differentiates between indigent citizens and citizens. Therefore recognizing indigenes as separate qualification from ordinary citizens.

The constitution under “definitions” in Part IV. Section 318 (1j also recognizes indigenes of a state as people whose grandparents were members of the community indigenous to that state. Not a member of a community in that state but a community indigenous to that state.

Under the constitution as defined in section 318, you are only recognized as “belonging” to a state if your grandparents are a member of an Indigenous community from that state.

An ibo man can never be an indigene of Lagos under the constitution no matter how long he is resident in Lagos.

Nigeria's 1999 constitution is not supreme in some cases, take a strong example from the creation of sharia in the North which those freaks have used to unalive so many non Muslims.

Confuse section, that is initiative you get when governors creates offices to favor some people. What is benefit of state indigenship certificate to today federal government policies?

Can the indigenousship certificate save the holder from hunger, petroleum price, cheap rice, low transport fare, not paying agberos, police harassment, high rent cost, working Education system, standard hospital treatment and access to hospitals for all state citizens, stable light at affordable rates? I mean can holder of the certificate start having access to live standards life, as to compare someone that nationalize as USA or European countries citizenship? You do not understand that yoruba is one. You cannot divide us.

1. Yoruba is a civilization and not only blood. This is why we can claim an Osimehen because he has elements of the 9 pillars of Omoluabi
2. Many yorubas have connection to Lagos on one side of the family
3. No Oyo, Ekiti, Osun or Ondo person wants to leave their idile or abandon their oriki to join themselves to a Lagos island compound. 😆
