To the Nairaland Admins/Moderators: I replied to a commenter on this thread who talked about “arresting” someone. My response simply stated a legal fact that often gets overlooked, yet it was quickly deleted—while other strong opinions about MNK remain visible. Let me repeat the point clearly: The real issue is the judge who reopened a case after a competent court had already discharged and acquitted Nnamdi Kanu. The real issue is the politicians (including Tinubu and Buhari) who ensured he remained detained despite the court ruling that the government should pay him ₦2 billion in compensation. Nairaland can continue whatever way it chooses—removing posts that highlight these facts about Biafra or MNK and deleting comments that favours Biafra. But truth doesn’t vanish because it’s deleted here. We’ve built reach and impact on many other platforms far beyond Nairaland. I rarely use this site anymore (check my activity), but I returned briefly to make this point. The Message is received on your end—I’ve said what needed to be said. |
