Wike as minister was representing the President of Nigeria.
Lieutenant Yerima was very wrong and disrespected the president by disrespecting the FCT minister

Most people who are supporting the Naval personnel are IPOB/OBIDIENTS and are doing so out of hatred for Wike. IPOB/OBIDIENTS have hated Wike mostly for 3 reasons:-
1) Wike publicly declared he is not Igbo
2) Wike stopped the killings of Hausas in Oyigbo by IPOB elements
3) Wike refused to support Peter Obi in the last presidential elections

Good one bro. Didn't know there are people who could still see the truth and say it for what it is. They are the ones championing this and their voice is so loud.

Wike is by far the best FCT Minister ever. See how he transformed the FCT in no time. The land they are claiming he grabs are lands that most people got for free and refuse to develop.

The one next to my house in Garki, the woman who owns the land has not developed it in 20 yrs since she got it. People came to lease it for N25b for 20yrs she refused. Wike came in revoked it and gave it to developers who are building magnificent structure their. The construction is employing people, and once completed people will be employed their, thereby reducing poverty and improving the city aesthetics.

But IPOB/ OBIDIENTS blinded by hate are looking for anything that will bring Wike's downfall.

All this euphoria is just to get at Wike, their archenemy.

Instead of critically examining the issue in an objective, unbiased and detached manner, they turn logic on its head.

If Wike hadn't engage the naval officer in any form of verbal altercation and simply followed due process of the law, the retired naval chief and his "egbe wagers" of naval officers would have been put in their rightful place.

Nobody, I repeat, nobody, no matter how highly placed, is above the laws of the land.

Only in our country that some people believe that they are the "law" themselves.

Their tendency is to act with impunity.

Impunity thrives only in a military regime where the Constitution is suspended thereby giving the men in uniform the license to act unchecked.

I will repeat it for the umpteenth time, the retired naval chief CANNOT forcefully lay claim to that plot of land without a valid document/documentation coming from the office of the FCT Minister who's constitutionally vested with the power to do so.

The retired naval chief needs to reach out to the FCT Minister to sort out the knotty issue before he completely loses out.

• People from the South don’t like him.
• People from the North don’t like him.

• Businessmen don’t like him.
• Fellow politicians don’t like him.
• The common people and his community don’t like him.

Now imagine one of Obi’s movements across the country leads to a situation where a soldier, acting on orders, treats him just the way Yerima treated Wike. Would your reaction and narrative be the same as what you’re showing here with Wike?

Now let’s take it further, imagine another politician rewards the soldier who treated Obi that way with a car for what he did. Think about that.

Honestly, it feels like a waste of time discussing with someone who approaches every situation based on personal feelings rather than logic.

You failed woefully. There is difference between common sense, knowledge and wisdom. All these three vital things are lacking in Wike.
