Like I’ve said before, all the soldiers involved in that illegal operation and show of shame including the person that deployed them to that site should have been arrested by the police and charged to court. I condone impunity far too much in this country and that’s why people get away with a lot of rubbish.

I think because Wike has seen himself as a god, Nigerians are tired of his impunity. It is wrong to use the military in a civil case. In the West, the military is not seen in town, and is less used for civil cases. In reality, he was not wrong, but he was wrong to engage in an altercation with the young officer. Wike himself is known for court violations

I think you are missing the point we are making. Nobody is saying the Navy is right, my point in particular is that Wike has no reason to personally go to that spot knowing the possibility that the guard there may create a scene. I'm Wike's shoe, I will get court or explore intergovernmental channels.
I have heard people saying the 3star General has retired, but the point is that the position gives them the protection of their lives and properties for life. Lt Yerima is the CSO of the former CNS who retires just few weeks ago.
Wike waited for this man to retire and move against him.

Can you show me where it is written in the Nigerian constitution or any other law that an FCT minister can demolish property without a valid court order ? This is the part you are also missing, either you are like wike who has no regards for the rule of law or your reasoning is deeply influenced by political affiliations.

I expect a lawyer like wike to know that it is only a court that can order the demolition of a property
