Nobody respected him before.

I read a lot of stuff from southerners and I feel ashamed for their lack of knowledge and awareness about political issues in Nigeria. They don’t understand why the north are using all possible means to bring down Wike.

Wike singlehandedly stopped the Fulani ethnic group from ruling Nigeria for a straight 16 years. If not for him, Atiku would have won the 2023 presidential election and a lot of you would be in far worse situation than you are. Fulanis would have taken over the entire south by now and the entire north central would have been a complete slaughter slab without any pushback.

Wike may not be perfect, but he’s the exact antidote we need to checkmate the excesses of these northern born to rule extremists.
