I had the crazy sickness for ten years. Please curse it in the name of the Lord.

I had my healing in the year 1988 in school fellowship. A lady was having it, I cursed it and it disappeared.

If you live in Nigeria, just treat malaria.
Get the Artequick antimalarial. The person will be fine.

My experience seems very similar to yours... It starts with blurred vision, then one eye pain, then concentrated headache..... At that moment, I feel like vomiting and sometimes I do.. The headache reduces when I wake up... That's if I'm able to sleep. The worst of this is when I'm away from home.. One day it happened when I was away and I had to struggle to drive myself home. Sometimes I don't experience it in a year.
Nsexy333:
I'm a victim and a survivor. 4 months ago i almost made a post about this topic before I changed my mind thinking it won't be helpful. I'm happy u already know it has no cure, even the tramadol u are mentioning won't even have any effect on it. Whenever it occurs, there's nothing u will take that will be effective, that's just it. Using myself as reference, she's currently at the peak of this killing severe headache, just one side of the head. At this point it can happen 2 times in a day, 3 to 6 times a week, as the case maybe, after battling this era, if she's strong and wins the battle, it will fade of gradually by occuring once in say 2 months, also 4 months, gradually 6 months and before u know it she will only experience it once in a year and once in maybe 2 years and so on till it fades away. But this peak era is the worst and dangerous. During my peak period I was in 100 level, second semester, had to leave school for home because only family can atleast be helpful by then, I only returned to school to write exams after missing all C.As and got just one carry over, alhamdulilah I still finish without spilling and second class upper . Please tell her, whenever she lost her sight it means she has just around 10 minutes to experience it, that's the notice, she will start seeing blurred vision and everything double, that's the sign before it triggers, so whenever she saw it coming she should quickly find her way to the house because she can only manage the situation and not stop it which most be done by taking the steps Below. Head home, ensure her room is dark, no Ray's of light at all, like completely dark as if it was night, no noise, like anyone opening doors or sound of ceiling fan or u as a friend staying with her and saying sorry sorry sorry out of pity, u are only making it worst. Light and sound of any degree at all triggers the migraine more, so she needs to avoid it, that's why I said going home is better because only family knows her problem, the public won't know or may end up rushing her to hospital complicating her life thinking they are helping. My mum will just sit down in the dark with me and watch me cry until I sleep off, that's when she will leave quietly, sleep won't be deep but it's the solution since I won't know what's happening one when I wake up the pains will all be concentrated at one spot of the head which I can use to walk gradually like going to toilet or shake my body while on bed, it will gradually now goes off again and she will be ok until next one comes up again. Take note,u don't want sounds, but the pain is severe that I will cry and that brings sounds which means vibration, I don't have a choice, keep crying in pains and praying for sleep to come. Tell me how possible do u sleep while in painshuh Only by God's grace. Let nobody stay in the room telling her sorry because every sound vibrates her head more, if u love her, ensure no noise in the compound at all and also thick curtains at the window, make the room dark, that's how to manage it until she will overcame it in future. Mine was between say 2004 to 2020 when it stop totally. I'm currently 35yrs of age, its been several years ago since it happened last. All local herbalist and foreign drugs before I saw an article how to go about it from a white man, that's when I believed no cure too, had to start managing it. Even though I'm at a wedding ground, football pitch, lecture, anywhere at all, once I lost vision , I will rush home, everything ends straight up because u don't want to scare ur friends or public who might also kill u thinking they are helping u by doing all first aid and making noise and vibrating all ur body in the process . May Almighty Allah comfort her, she will survive it, many has been killed , she won't be among 🙏🙏

A close friend of mine has been having severe migraine that seems to be increasing with each passing year. This is gradually putting her in a state of depression as the medication she has been taking (Lexotan) is not working effectively on her again. She's scared of tramadol addiction so she had to disregard it upon the Doctor's prescription.

This has given me much concern on how to help but just don't know how to. I confirmed it has no cure. The pain transfers to her ears, eyes and now to her tooth which made her to remove the tooth of recent (Doctor's suggestion).

She goes through this experience at least 2-3 times every week which makes her to take the drugs in excess as it's now almost non-effective.

Those who have experience + Doctors in the house, is there any means (herbal or any surgery) that can help?

Avoid personal triggers like certain foods, bright lights, long screen time , being beating by rain

Take painkillers early as soon as you noticed the symptoms

There's a cute to migraine. Believe it. My brother once had it. It usually attacks like 3 to 4 times weekly. A very severe one until we met one Yoruba man that cured it traditionally. This is 4 years and still counting, that attack is gone forever

Yeah migraine can be very very fatal, at times it will make you feel as if there is a wound or tumor in your brain. The funniest part is that it's just one side of your head that will be aching you so badly, it would make you wanna commit suicide. I hard migraine for 3 good years without no solution forthcoming,I missed several exams during this period at the university.I took several prescription drugs all to no avail. Finally I had to go spiritual about it, It was at a celestial church I finally found a cure after moving from one church and several Alfa to another.

My migraine triggers when I deprive myself of sleep and stress myself intensively for some days….

There is nothing you can do about it than to endure the pain…. It will go naturally.

Try to sleep more and reduce stress (Very important)….

Migraine, to some of us is a sign we need to relax, avoid stress and calm the system.

If you haven't had migraine you can never know how painful it is, your neck, eyes, jugular veins will be in constant pains, and even it triggers toothache. It is only migraine that will make a grown up man cry like a child and you won't even be able to cry out loudly. Migraine wey wan make me commit suicide, for 3 solid years I was in serious pains.

Do you know the side effects of those drugs...na kidney problem person wey take am long time dey call ooo
You're referring to the NSAIDS(Ibuprofen Naproxen)? Why would you take it for a long time?

They are meant to be used to abort acute, ongoing attacks

Thereafter, you continue on prophylaxis

Oladikpo1975:
If the trigger is anxiety or loss of sleep then lexotan can be used to remove the underlying cause.
That's where Propranolol as a drug of choice for prophylaxis comes in

I handled mine with early morning tea(it could green, lemon, black or mixture) mixed with honey or sugar and I have been ok for the past 20yrs...the tea was my saviour cos I remember going from normal paracetamol to paradox to panadol extra to novalgin to triple dose of novalgine until I discovered the tea remedy by chance. . Since then I hardly take drug or even get sick. I surprisingly now even eat very less

I seriously wish I could know what causes this. Some times I fear for brain tumour. Whenever I feel it, na Into the Badlands movie comes to mind.

For me, I actually feel it when I skip breakfast.....but when it goes worst, I take VoltFast...
same with me. Mine occurs whenever I skip breakfast and as a result I usually have breakfast before I set out of my home every morning except on weekends

A quick relief can be gotten when she put her foot in hot water (not hot enough to scald or cause burns) for a while.

Cafergot would do a better job most importantly, that migraine is a symptom of an underlying issue in the body. Check your blood pressure, pcv or check if you have blood clots. Stop using NSAIDs
This Works for Me 100%.
within 15 mins, it Disappears.

but it has side effects:
mine was: Diarrhea after like 1 hour but its very minimal.

For Your Information

The first and most important step in managing migraines is identifying your personal triggers.
This requires careful self-observation and paying attention to what usually happens before a migraine starts.

Common triggers may include:
Bright light
Loud noise
Smoke
Hunger
Screens or devices
Stress or lack of sleep

Once you identify your trigger, the next step is to control it or avoid it as much as possible.

For example, my personal triggers were:
1. Looking at a phone or computer screen in the dark for more than 30 minutes
2. Staying on the computer for too many hours (10+ hours)

By avoiding or reducing exposure to these triggers, the number of migraine episodes decreased significantly.
After that, I could reduce how often I needed medication—because taking migraine medicine for too long can also have side effects.
