Now that it has been established that it's a fraudulent deal by an unknown company with no history whatsoever what do you have to say?

helinues:
Let's wait for the bitter people of Nigeria to call this a propaganda as usual

Why should the project be sited in the South South?

These are private projects that can be located anywhere. The SS already has three refineries that don't work, all the LNG plant in Bonny, and the Indorama petrochemical plant.

I thnk SS entrepreneur should buy Warri and P H refineries
dappydozzy:
Refineries ought to be sited in SS ? Who stipulated that? Industries are sited as a result of nearness to raw materials, efficient logistics and distribution. Remember this refinery is within Olokola free trade zone, same as Dangote refinery. They were designed to be export powerhouses not cesspool of corruption. Ondo state also large reserves of crude and Bitumen, as well as the proposed deep sea port. All these factors positions the state to host a refinery of this magnitude.
If Industries are suppose to be localed close to raw materials than all the Cobolt , copper and Lithium factories should be located i. DR Congo and not in Nigeria.

This is the list of the top oil refining countries. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/15-countries-largest-refining-capacity-005918383.html

The countries below have no oil or gas, yet they are a major refinery countries. To improve transportation, the location of industries close to raw materials has been replaced with the location of industries (refineries) close to a stable market, infrastructure (Roads, Rail, Ports), skilled labour, and political stability.

The refineries in the South West can source their crude oil from any nation in the world.

India, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Singapore all import crude oil from oil-rich countries, refine it into refined oil, petrochemicals, and chemicals. Graphite etc

#Food for thought
Another food for thought, good people don’t create bad leaders, it’s impossible.

Nigeria is not blessed with good citizens too.

The politicians should gather together and point fingers at the bad citizenry and their disorderly lawless conduct. They should also ask the masses for accountability. It is a 2 way street.

What do you think?

Go and talk to people around Dangote refinery Ibeju Lekki and go and find out if Landlords don't have their income from rent doubled. Businesses springing up. Ondo people here too will benefit same. Tinubu attracting investment is more money. Only the lazy ones will keep wailing about lost subsidy. Are opportunities not being created for you? Unless you are a lazy youth.

The numbers don't lie.

BAT isn't doing well at all.

Even hardened, chronic BAT supporters are a lot more measured in their hagiography now. They studiously now avoid those empty, fawning slogans that were so popular among you in the first few weeks of the administration. Reality has dawned on them but you are clearly taking way too much time to get the memo.

BAT is failing, full stop. He hasn't been able to get a grip on the security issues. He hasn't been able to control inflation - a lingering problem he made much, much worse with his rash policy decisions. The economy is struggling. There is mass misery.

But as you claim: it will favour you and your family. grin

Keep whining yourself. I am already a beneficiary of Tinubus regime without being a member of APC. Some of his policies has already open doors for me. There are things I couldn't do under Buhari that I can do now. Speak for yourself. Unless you don't know how to recognize opportunities. Obi would have been worse that Buhari.

Its great that its all coming together for you under the Tinubu administration. Long may it continue. But the purpose of leadership is the greatest good for the greatest number of people. Not the good of a select few. That's the point you all need to understand.

You cannot deny the truth of what I said earlier because indeed, the numbers don't lie. The Tinubu administration has come to be defined by one thing: mass immiseration. The numbers don't lie!

BAT's failure is is brought into bold relief whenever this sort of puerile, lazy excuse for non-performance is put forward. Buhari is dead and Obi is a regular Nigerian who has no executive power to do anything in this country today. What do these two have to do with how BAT is performing? undecided See what I mean when I say you still haven't got the memo? undecided

Have you researched how other struggling nations overtook others in development? Go and research China that is trying to compete with America today. You think it was easy? Sacrifices were made. China that is donating to African countries today didn't start like that many years ago. They made sacrifices for today's future. So, Nigerias case is no different. Only a madman keep doing something the same way since independence and expects a different result. Tinubu is on the right path. No pain, no gain!

Seams you are one of the scammers. Aside from Nnamani, a known failed politician, all the other promoters are nonentities and people that have zero net worth.

Point us to the track record of a single member of the consortium.

Fraudsters seeking to capture Ondo State House.
