Confused government, the tariff was a good one, to boost local currency, because it will reduce the import, Dangote sells more and we import less, no need to demand for more dollars, the tariff was a good one, but seems the people benefiting from the fuel imports are fighting hard. |

Just like any other drug user, tinubu who is most likely a drug user (having forfeited a reasonable sum in drug related case. As drug dealers associate he is likely also a user too) is spontaneous in decision without deep thoughts. This is the main reason for the back and forth policies. Nigeria has been reduced to ridicles because men with the least character are their leaders. An old minister was behaving like a tout before a young soldier, hound enough to be his son. Thank God for the training this soldier had obtained. If the soldier was as ill-mannered and untrained as the minister, heads would have rolled that day. |

Absolutely none. This is the most confused government in the history of this country. The anyhowness of this administration is legendary, policies are carried out in a completely haphazard manner. There are no visible technocrats or experts, despite earlier assurances that Tinubu would assemble a team of technocrats and egg heads. Instead, the administration appears to be filled with individuals with forged certificate, patch patch CV's, thugs, agberos etc |

Interesting comment coming from the Association of Disgruntled Coalition (ADC), where there is no iota of innate and displayed critical thinking. Islie: |

| Re: No Critical Thinking In Tinubu’s Administration – ADC On Scrapped Fuel Tariff by oluwaseyi0: 9:31am On Nov 15, 2025 |
dederocs:The tariff is and will always be a bad one Fuel subsidy is already completely removed moving fuel from below 200 to almost 1000, adding tax will ultimately raise fuel to near 1500 Let dangote compete, let their be free market in an much as the import is not been subsidized Nigerians can't keep bearing the brunt |
| Re: No Critical Thinking In Tinubu’s Administration – ADC On Scrapped Fuel Tariff by dederocs(m): 9:45am On Nov 15, 2025 |
oluwaseyi0:Mr clueless, Dangote can supply the whole of Nigerian market, it's better for Dangote to be the sole supplier of fuel to Nigeria, if he can, the tariff won't affect Dangote refinery...this will boost our currency value, due to lower imports...it's balance of payments, basic economics. |

helinues:Aha! I knew someonw was gonna embarrass themselves with a commet like this and I didn't have to look far. Look back at the number of policies and appointments the government has made and withdrawn and you'll know they only think after they act. Anyway, only people who think before acting will see it. |
| Re: No Critical Thinking In Tinubu’s Administration – ADC On Scrapped Fuel Tariff by oluwaseyi0: 10:38am On Nov 15, 2025 |
dederocs:You are the one that is more clueless If Dangote can supply the whole country or Africa no one is stopping him, if his product is cheaper and better than import he will naturally gain the market share, what we will not agree is forcing Nigerian to subsidized dangote product by over taxing competitors, Dangote wants selfish monopoly at the costs of the populace He should lower his price than imports price and see if people won't buy from him |

oluwaseyi0:What the tariff would have done was to make the imported petrol unprofitable, thereby discouraging its importation. With competition subdued, Dangote would have the enture market to himself. Actually, the Petroleum Industry Act states that all importation of refined petroleum will cease with a caveat and that only companies with refining capacity would be allowed to import it. So, Tinubu was and is breaking the law by allowing petrol be imported. But he isn't dumb. He could see the damage import bans can cause when you take a peep at cement. He is not gullibe like OBJ or Buhari who would have effected the ban. |
