Now that top officers and generals themselves are becoming targets for kidnapping, maybe just maybe they will finally sit up and act with the urgency the situation requires.

Sorry to say this and I don't mean to be rude or with tribal sentiment: in as far the General is not from the South seriously I don't really care because I'm very upset at the Northern people seen them few days ago protesting carrying placards saying "Bandits are our husband and our brother" and El Rufai, Atiku, Sultan of Sokoto etc didn't come hard on the protesters I'm sorry I dont really care anylonger in as far it does not affect the South.

I have wanted to say the same. A country where citizens hailed military officers for standing up to a minister over a land probably gotten from syphoning the fund meant for purchasing Arms to fight terrorism.
Tinubu's Government is sitting on a serious time bomb. Not all top generals or military chiefs are benefiting from the rot. Some of them want to end the menace but they dont have the number and will. I am very sure the kidnapped general is one of the innocent ones among them and would have been set up by the bad ones to remove him from blocking their daily meals.
