CRIDA Lauds Tinubu Over Reinstatement Of Marilyn Ogah, Justice Walter Onnoghen by Pakute(op): 9:29am On Nov 15, 2025

The Cross River State Indigenes Development Association (CRIDA) in Abuja has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the reinstatement and promotion of their daughter, Mrs Marilyn Ogar of the Department of State Services.

This recognition follows the President’s decision to reinstate and promote Mrs. Marilyn Ogar, former Spokesperson of the Department of State Services (DSS), and his intervention in clearing the name of Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen, former Chief Justice of Nigeria.

CRIDA’s President, Chief Sankara Dickson Unung, in a statement on Wednesday, praised the President’s actions, stating that he has demonstrated a powerful commitment to justice , fairness, and reward for merit.

“Mrs. Ogar served the nation with integrity, courage, and professionalism, and her reinstatement is a triumph of truth and faith,” Chief Unung said.

The association also applauded President Tinubu’s promotion of Lt. Gen. Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye as Chief of Defence Intelligence, recognizing his exceptional service and leadership in national security.

CRIDA expressed gratitude to the Director-General of the DSS, Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, for facilitating Mrs. Ogar’s reinstatement and congratulated her on her steadfast faith and resilience.

“We stand solidly behind President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. We see in his leadership a new dawn of justice, merit, and inclusion for all Nigerians.” Chief Unung affirmed.

Marilyn Ogah that year. This woman show APC shege, the only time on history where DSS was turned into an attack dog of the ruling party..She was hugging the media and doing press release every day. Tinubu really has a good heart. Congrats to Justice Walter Onnoghen and congrats to the people of Cross Rivers.

I still remember that lady when DSS raided APC office and took their computers away just because Jonathan knew he was about to lose the election.
Tinubu messed up big time.
Many bad things happened under Jonathan but Nigerians have very poor memory.

Anybody with brains know that Buhari removed him for his selfish agenda. I'm not saying Onnoghen is a saint, but the fact they didn't find him culpable for bribery and corruption, just failure to declare some estacode (which he could dash his sidechic) shows he was a just judge

Tinubu is ready to work with anyone even if they previously stood in opposition of his political ambitions.

Marilyn Ogar was only a spokesperson for a DSS that was a political tool of Goodluck Jonathan. She was not the head of DSS.

All is politics to neutralise some sections. Tinubu was a beneficiary of the actions being reversed now. However, we do need these for national healing and the country's progress.

So Tinubu himself will know that some of his actions now are reversible in the very near future.

PBAT is desperate for re-election. He's the ace because the termination of their appointments didn't follow due process. There's no point allowing professionals to be relieved of their posts while mediocres are elevated for political purposes. And that's the trend of PMB.

The APC Data Center in Ikeja, Lagos, was ruthlessly raided by the DSS, and the offices and computers were damaged and carted away. Members of staff at the Data Center were roughed up. Punch and other newspaper outlets had the photographs of the damaged offices on the front pages of their newspapers and online

I really do NOT understand what the Nigerian President 'Bola Tinubu's motivation is for forgiving people who misused their positions under Goodluck Jonathan to attack the APC before the 2015 elections because Merilyn Ogar was very overzealous as the DSS spokesperson in defending the violations of human rights by the DSS under GEJ.

You're contradicting yourself. You claim Tinubu is desperate for re-election, yet you also say their appointments were terminated without due process. If their removal was unjust, shouldn’t justice require reinstating them, which President Tinubu has done? Many of you talk like experts but are simply wrapped in ignorance. It would help to actually understand issues before speaking.

Tinubu did the right thing, but as usual, the keypad warriors and echo chambers must do their work, feeding on the story and blowing everything out of proportion.

Most of you people act like you don't know that in Buhari government, president Tinubu was sidelined and relegated to how most of you like to mock him as "national leader" grin

the cabal shut out Tinubu and did everything they can including bastardized our economy through change of currency which brought about inflation that we are still struggling to get out of now just to ensure he doesn't become president.

But unlike most "national leaders" and "opposition leaders" are wailing and crying and sabotaging governance today Tinubu took all in his stride then as an elder statesman that he is and should be.

Tinubu is a man of integrity with a deep sense of loyalty to what he believes and to people he associates with that's why he is making these kind of reversals of injustice without maligning Buhari or his government as most of you expect him to like a retribution of a thing instead.

The steps and reforms that Tinubu is making in Nigeria are what so-called leaders in Nigeria both past and present can only attempt to do in the second terms of their presidency when they don't need your opinion or vote but here's a man who believes in doing the right thing even if God forbid it costs him reelection.

Anybody who doesn't vote for Tinubu for second terms will get the type of leader he deserves.... Who will pay subsidy to companies owned by his friends and associates and unjustly remove people who complain from their career path and what's new naval officers will flog sense into their brains through their buttocks as ordered by his superior and you must go online to celebrate him for it grin

let me explain something to you...

there are many ethnic(languages) groups in Nigeria. The South South And South East is not a place for the Igbos alone... there are hundreds of different Ethnic groups there... it a shame u are so obsessed with these people

anyways, most of the names u post are not Igbos, they share similarities because of geographical location just lyk my tribe(Urhobo) share same similarities with Isoko, Ishekiri and Ijaw...
