So only Capital's of Nigeria were built with Nigerian money, other states don't receive allocation from the Federal government àbi or what money is that allocatiion from, Ghana money?

Lagos state, as did Western region that made up a huge chunk of the modern day metropolis, received money from the centre, just like Eastern region and Aligbo states, and their government used it to make their land attractive to investors and people.

How long has Abuja being the capital that more people are still coming to Lagos daily than going there?

You yourself should receive sense before asking others to.
They say you should receive something insha'Allah nahhhhh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Dry, very dry.

Travel from Apapa to Anthony Village on that expressway, every single Industrial or commercial unit along there was Western region "inspired".

You, an Obidient atohunriwa JJC now want to kpai yourself ontop that same Lagos that people from the places you mentioned built with their (cocoa) sweat.

Rest bikonu.

Nobody prevented you from saying same about Anambra.

Lagos as former capital and still economic capital gets disproportionate resources from the Nigerian State
Putinofrussia:
So Anambra,Imo etc were not built with Nigerians resources?

You can't stay in a place and don't pay rent, that is the rentage.
All your states too collected and are still collecting Nigerians' money even if they are leeches.
Face them, you are not from SW.

And I was here thinking it was Igbos fro, Agulu n upper Iweka or Umahia.

DelilahMakinde:
The indigenous peoples of Lagos State, Nigeria, are primarily the Awori and the Ogu (Egun) people.

The Awori , a Yoruba sub-group, are considered the original settlers of much of Lagos, including areas like Ikeja. The Ogu (Egun) people are mainly found in the Badagry area.

Additionally, the Ilaje and Ijebu , who are also Yoruba groups, are indigenous to parts of Lagos, especially in coastal and eastern divisions like Lekki Peninsula, Epe, and Ikorodu.

Historically, other ethnic groups such as the Bini (Edo), Saros, Brazilians , Kannike/Tapa , and some Nupe have also settled in Lagos, but the Awori and Ogu remain recognized as the primary indigenous owners of the state

Hope Lagos matter no go quench some people like this.

The obsession is just crazy lately. They always sound as if they fell from the sky without having their own place to discuss about apart from Lagos state and SW in general
That person is not ibo. What has she said that is against Yorubas? Some of you are just so cocked like a sakabula on anything tribal.

You didn't mention ibo but you implied it by talking about obsession with Lagos and that they don't want to talk about their own place except SW. Isn't this how tribalistic Yorubas banter with tribalistic ibos on nairaland? We know it well nao

What else?

You mentioned it in your post Abi I lie? Someone made a post about how aworis are the aborigines of Lagos and you went off the handle talking about obsession. Check your post again. I don't know you on nairaland but your idea was true to type

No it doesn't, until Nigeria divides, Nigerians can move to and live in every inch of Nigeria.

The indigines of the places they are moving to own those places and can make local legislation that suits them like street renaming etc.
Re: Who Are The Indeginous Peoples Of Lagos ? by DMerciful(m): 11:42am On Nov 16, 2025
Naming of street, making local laws are superficial things. There's nothing tangible an indigene can do that other Nigerians can't do

Ok ……..🤔 where in Lagos state? Under what traditional ruler? You are making a complete mockery of the Igbo lineage, people and nation. The whole of Nigeria is witnessing (and STDH at) your folly and crash out!

You have surrendered yourselves to Yoruba control and domination.

Which kind CURSE be this?

The guy was right, I’m having trouble undertanding your reasoning, there's a reason every country has a capital and it's always more developed than every other part of the Country. I'm talking about third word country like Africa.
Stop doubling down on an opinion if you don't have any valid point to counter back. Ire oo

You see that you have just a tiny sense now.
All states were built by Nigerians because they are all collecting FAAC,taxes etc just like Lagos.
He was 100% right, he probably don't want to engage you because you sounds emotional and illogical
