Lolz.

People like you are online quoting laws and Constitution up and down while those in power do what they want. Ever wonder why Nigeria is referred to as a lawless society? Government routinely disobey court orders that don't suit them. So much for your Constitution and laws grin

Those lands belong to the retired and current high-ranking military officials. Wike cannot revoke that land. Even if he tries, only a slowpoke will accept the reallocation and try to develop it. The best he can do is quietly issue them the R of O. Tinubu is wise. Wike tried that nonsense with Mrs Rita Lori and got shut down. Go back to the video and listen carefully to Wike's phone call. Did you hear how he addressed the person on the other line? That should tell you all you need to know grin

Henceforth you will never hear about this matter again. It will be resolved quietly away from public curiosity.

You call it ignorance but you are living the reality. Hopefully you will run into a police checkpoint today
and they will prove to you how lawful the country has been.

Land was leased to Chief Ogbebor’s construction company in 1985 when his company was working in the construction of Abuja, madam Rita Lori due to her lack of knowledge believed the land is a freehold, government showed up after 40 years saying madam your lease done expire, she started crying in the press.

Ogbebor’s friends heard her, appealed to the Honorable Minister to grant her another extension of the lease which he did under the powers he possesses under the land use act.

Igno rants will just be celebrating in their ignorance, this case also is a very simple case, the admiral can use his military connections to help him appeal & apply to the governor (Minister in this instance) in the prescribed form to convert the certificate of occupancy from public purposes, to residential or commercial purposes, which the honorable minister can do within his powers.

Yet nonsense noise cho cho cho people wey never buy 1 piece of land for their lives b4, & have no understanding of the provisions of the Land Use Act, na them go they shout pass.

Take it or leave it, Wike will officially sign off that land to the military. Tinubu had instructed him to move the bulldozer and he complied immediately.

Wike's tenure will end and that land will remain grin

Keep memorizing Nigerian laws.

They shouldn't have resolved anything. The owner of that land should have done the needful. If Wike had called the chief of naval staff, they would have resolved the issue but that would have amounted to allowing someone to build a residential house where is never meant to be. That is how corruption is encouraged by those who say they detest it. Wike came when he was called that some miscreants are preventing his staff from doing their legitimate duty. Besides, why should the officer obey an illegal order?
He woke notified them(chief of Defence staff, minister of Defence matawale) all are aware before the incident.
And they told him to calm down, so that the chiefs will resolved it internally. But wike gragraaa No gree and went ahead to embarrass him self.

Babinski:
If they met resistance as claimed, the ideal thing to do is to record it for evidence and then escalate through proper channels. In this case, the Minister would have simply called the Chief of Defense Staff or Chief of Naval Staff and reported the issue for investigation. He had already been warned of resistance, so what was he going there to do? To confront them with superior firepower or what?
Minister of defense(mattawale),chief of defense staff.
All are aware before the incident.

Please like I have told u b4 stop exhibiting ignorance with pride, under t he land use act which is enshrined in section 315(5) & (6) of the constitution making its provisions Supra, states unambiguously when it comes to land matters, the governor has the final say, in this instance Nyesom Wike as the FCT minister.

This is a very simple case, let him get his connected friends big man to big man, & as a navy man he has friends from Rivers state that are close to Wike, go to Wike’s house with some vintage whiskeys, sit down laugh over issues, talk about the state of the country, after that they exchange phone numbers.

Monday morning Wike says send your personal assistant with your original title documents, we will look 👀 into it.

Case finished, all these shouting by the poor minded cho cho cho people that hate Wike is irrelevant.

The true fool is anyone who supports illegality cos of hatred
Wike is the King of Illegality. Or u didn't know. Bro. He was served in his kitchen from his own dish. But come to think of it, why such display from him? From a minister embarassed.

The part in bold is the point a lot of Nigerians are missing. On what basis should our military be deployed to protect a construction site with a directive to shoot government officials who are on routine monitoring exercise? Are we in a war situation with another country over the property? Is that what we’ve reduced our armed personnel to? Instead of deploying soldiers to fight terrorism and protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria, we now deploy them with the directive to shoot government officials over an illegally acquired land. What a shame.

Like I’ve said before, all the soldiers involved in that illegal operation and show of shame including the person that deployed them to that site should have been arrested by the police and charged to court. I condone impunity far too much in this country and that’s why people get away with a lot of rubbish.
Thank you.

Now I understand why things can never get better in this shit hole called Nigeria. Imagine imbeciles supporting and hailing the young soldier for a wrong reason. Just because they all dislike Wike, everyone has refused completely to see the wrong in what that disrespectful soldier orchestrated. I stand with u on this one.

Have you ever confirm if these reports are real? Is it not the same Wike that is denying that he call Yerima a fool on national tv, something we saw clearly.

Your comment shows that you are reasonable.
Many people failed to see the objectivity and legality of FCT MINISTER'S action but they choose to focus on sentiments and emotions because Wike is the minister involved.

To me Wike calling the naval boy a fool is no Biggie. His boss could have called him a fool as well, and he would say yes sir. He dares not reject it !

So I totally agree with your submission
