Everyone is not flipping burgers abroad, by the way truck drivers end good pay, Dangote drivers can never dream of.

Even if I get an offer of N5m monthly salary in Nigeria, I won't resign from where I am, to relocate to Nigeria.

You can go to Jos and wear same winter jacket and head .😂😂😂
But I assure you that not a few have resigned from such high paying jobs in Nigeria to go be at the bottom of the society in foreign countries.

Let him wait let me get mine next month I will celebrate it to high heaven. He will not understand because he did not witness the disgraceful country called Nigeria.
I wonder how some of you talk.

You are currently holding Nigeria citizenship (and passport) as you type and you referred to it as “disgraceful”. What level of ingratitude.

So if you earn your citizenship next month, would you be the first or the last? What exactly will change in your life? Will you be Elon Musk overnight? He’s actually throwing you a shade.

Earning a citizenship of any country doesn’t translate to wealth. I hope that sinks.

I can’t really blame him. The way our people celebrate it is truly annoying.
Re: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by Omoawoke(m): 5:54pm On Nov 15, 2025
Others are celebrating it, but they keep it coded and private

But trust Nigerians, they so loud and need to pepper others and show off

When agberos, touts and school drop outs are ruining the country, professionals leave for greener pastures. Tell me how many of your leader's children are schooling in Nigeria. Tell me how many of them do not have a homes abroad. Tell me how many of our leaders have no foreign bank account that they stash our commonwealth in.
When you finish answering these questions, then tell me how many foreign Presidents, Prime Ministers, Heads of Government, etc buy houses in Nigeria or even come to Nigeria for medical.

You now see that those of you defenders of evil governments are the problem, not the professionals japaing.
I have been seeing throwback's comments recently and wondering what happened, shebi na diehard defender of the govt before, seems reality is dawning now. Mschew.

Restarting life in a different country, is not a walk in the park as most people have to start from the bottom and work their way up but remaining at the bottom is where the issue is.

So Japa started during PBAT?
You are one of the problems we have in Nigeria.
People with low self esteem.
VeeVeeMyLuv:
Don't mind PBAt and his defenders including his information minister who sees the obvious and keep denying.

Sen. Remi is no longer active or talks again what happened?

It's nothing but a travel document,no need for all the celebrations.Nigerians must learn to keep their lives private.

He doesn't understand when God gives you power and means to escape a hellhole on earth it is very much worth a celebratory feast.
Re: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by Kewekubosineh: 5:57pm On Nov 15, 2025
This is instructive. Eye opener.

Government at all levels should make our country livable so that Japa syndrome will be put in check.

The political class are our problems. They're misgovoverning the country that the youths and working class wants to leave the country for a better life.

Politicians earn huge salaries without commensurate input. We have weak institutions. As a result, corruption thrives.
Nigeria is now a laughing stock amongst nations of the world.

Nigerians are scattered everywhere outside our shores seeking better life. Our neighbors throws insults at us because of how things are bad at home.

Nigeria needs a pragmatic leadership!

Which one tastes better: Tache' pistachio milk or palm wine?

Palm wine of course! Why? Because most people here have not tasted pistachio milk and cannot compare effectively. The people who say Nigeria is great can be excused because they don't really know what life is all about. They have never lived in a society with 24/7 power supply, covered drainage, clean water, well-equipped hospitals with emergency services, good road network and salaries are paid on time.

Don't debate them. Pray for them.

There is truth in the message. But how do we ascertain that it was not from a mischievous impostor?

Re: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by Chipzlov: 6:11pm On Nov 15, 2025
This person is Ghanaian posing as a white.
Checks by Fact-Check Ghana showed that Scott Bolshevik (@scottbolshevik) is a burner account that was not only masquerading as an international analyst but also stole posts from others on social media. The account was using the photo of renowned Australian lawyer, Matthew Johnson, as its display photo.
The report by Fact-Check Ghana showed how a Ghanaian X user account, using the name Scott Bolshevik, portrayed himself as an American financial analyst and economic expert, to contribute to political discussions.

He has a point. As a family history researcher, there is a new generation of Nigerians growing overseas as per the Japa syndrome. If reverence is not maintained, the posterity might find it difficult to reconnect back with their roots just like other immigrants in the western world, causing disdain to their adopted nations. To avert this trend, they have to document family histories they will preserve for the future generations.

Ask descendants of slaves who left that is trying to reconnect back to their roots because host nations might never accept you as one of their own.

[quote author=WorkTheTalk post=137481032]Economist, Scott Bolshevik writes: Only the wealthy ones can tell you Nigeria is OK, everyone is strugling financially. It is only in Nigeria that you provide your own water, your own health care, provide for school fees and tranportation and you provide your own power supply by using generator that you buy gasoline to run and you use all you generate to pay government starting from local government to state level and federal and the power company that fails to provide power. Union and police extortion. Nigerian police will shoot at will to intimidate and extort you for profit as long as you are a common man.

Anyway, Things are in stages. That may be the stage in development that the people you are sampling are. Not everybody does that.

And as a matter of fact, Venezuelans, Mexicans, Salvadorians, will do what what those people you sampled did too......celebrating their admittance into the U.S. or Canada, or such countries.

I remember during the USA 1994 World Cup.....A Nigerian said he met many people in New York and Atlanta, and other cities in America. He said some said they were german-Americans, Italian-Americans, British-Americans, Brazilian-Americans, etc. But when he met someone who said he was a Russian-American, he, I think he said, he almost burst out laughing!

So don't limit your research only to Africa, look within your own country! You'll be surprised what you'll find.

Which touts are running the country?

The politicians today were not professionals yesterday with work in both public and private sector?

Stop fooling yourself that some innocent professionals have to japa because touts and agberos are running the country. The touts and agbero are still in the gutters and it is the very professionals you want to glorify and acquit that are running this country aground with their greed and lack of foresight, despite all the foreign exposure they have.
The majority of Nigerian politicians are criminals and touts. There are very few good politicians in Nigeria.
Re: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by samwash(m): 6:27pm On Nov 15, 2025
You think it's only Nigerians that celebrate this stuff , go ask the Latinos, you go know how far.
Re: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by Mirasteel: 6:28pm On Nov 15, 2025
Because Nigeria is hell hole, that's the reason why majority of Nigerians celebrate when they leave the shore of the country to a saner clime.

Nigerian youths are also unserious sets of people hence why the politicians use them as they deem fit.
Re: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by Dennisochampa: 6:30pm On Nov 15, 2025
Nigerians talk too much and it's a problem...

here in the UK, Indians and Pakistan nationals, even Bangladesh to an extent are more than Nigerians living here but na only Nigerians go open camera just to celebrate visa and citizenship or to begin analyse how to Japa from Nigeria....

not saying it's a crime but the attention we draw to ourselves is too much... Just too much
