Really looking for anyone that sells DIY metal boxes for building 48v lithium batteries. Metal fabrication is stressful in Nigeria (many welders are anti-excellence). Jiji and online searches have not provided anything helpful. I'll be happy if anyone can give me a contact
Talk to Mr Reed

Where is your location?

Hi
I am looking forwardtonhave this exact same setup. I have already gotten the inverter from fouani, remain battery and panels.
Please i have some questions since you have bee using it for over a year.
1. Didi you get the plynotech battery from Fouani.
2. If yes, does it come with cable that will be used to connect the battery to the inverter. I noticed the terminal of plynotech battery is different from growatt terminal.
3. How good is the battery, have you experienced any issue with it. What your honest reviewon the pylontech battery after a year plus of using it.
Thanks you

After much delib, Finally settled for:

Jinko 580W x9,
Growatt SPF 5000ES and
Pylontech UP5000 5.12kWh x2

I guess it's time to find a reliable installer and I'll love recommendations. Thanks alot

Yes, got everything from them. Comes with everything you need, One end of the battery cable is proprietary but the other is regular. Battery is known for it superiority but quite expensive that's all. Capacity is not fake and still behaves as it should since day 1. No issues at all, zero! I plugged it and forgot about it till now.

Got a pylontech battery few years back. Prone to bloating. Hightech packaging but does not deliver watt for Naira as most other less expensive but not less reputable products in the market. Will I buy another one ? No.
The only two deciding factors for me in choosing a battery pack are value for money and reliability and not reputation

I have come to observe on 2 occasions that the automatic switch from Grid to inverter that usually happens in milliseconds had some significant delays, nearly a minute after power went off. This is unusual, is this a normal behaviour?

Important point to note is that on such occasion, there is usually a sharp voltage difference between Grid and Inverter.

What could be the cause?

Is your load type selected in the settings APL or UPS? If APL, change to UPS first to see any change. But that 1 minute long o. I dont see why it should be like that

I have used cworth hybrid inverters without much problems. But I won't recommend their batteries.

If money is not a problem, then go for premium brands, like victron and pylontech.

If money is not a problem but you are on a budget, i'ld recommend cworth inverter and 3pcs of 8kwh batteries. Deriy, Mr Reed and possibly Valto comes to mind here.
The installer is strongly recommending Felicity, what do you think?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Adaowerri111: 3:15pm On Nov 15, 2025

Battery from Deriy, SRNE, LVTOPSUN.

Inverter from Deye or SRNE. Leave Brands like Cworth and Felicity.
okay thanks alot

Avoid o.

Quoted capacity is way less than actual capacity. Test videos are readily available on tiktok and YouTube.

Thanks for your response. Like I mentioned, this has only happened twice, on other times it behaves normal by switching automatically without you noticing. I'll look at the settings and make necessary adjustments to see if this will resolve the issue.

Thank you once again.

Battery Go for Deriy over Felicity and inverter Dey or Growatt over Felicity.

Some installers only recommend what they are comfortable with not because it is the best available.

I have a friend who has purchased everything including panels but the landlord refused! He even offered the landlord 500k upward compensation.. still landlord won't agree

.

Let him try ground mount, fence mount, awning design, balcony mount etc

Maybe the landlord has a phobia for roof.

I'd still pick a Felicity inverter over a growatt or even deye presently. Not everyone wants all the bells or are enthusiasts. Some ppl just wants what works reason why Toyota/Honda are best sellers.
Apart from Deye, doubt any of the listed inverters come with 5years warranty with readily available service centers (doesn't cover for lightening damage as i sadly found out).
Make i no even start with the growatt charging bug some ppl complain of..
To every man his own sha...

Yes I got it from Nnamdi here on this forum as recommended by my dear good NL TrippleDot now turned friend. Everytime I have the opportunity, I did like to thank these guys real good like demi gods as someone here said I make them feel.. Lol

Meanwhile I found a way to check and the pump is just 1hp which I plan to try out tomorrow Saturday.

If the inverter could do non-inverter AC of 1.5hp and other kitchen appliances, I think this pump would be Bravi too on the moduler inverter.
Dears,

Just FYI only for those who wants to know, I tried the pump this morning and it all went fine. 45min plus or minus water was full and no issues..

I forgot to check the current rush or lets say I couldn't do much findings alone because I live upstairs, pump switch downstairs and family gone to church... All I wanted to do was just to test the pump while downstairs looking at the only bulb outside when I turned on the pump and there was no blink. It's the EAsun modular inverter anyways... because some of the modular inverters are not really pure sine wave just for the info...

I never doubted it not working because according to you, your inverter is 5KVA while Submersible is 1HP hence even 3.5kva should work.

As for whether PURE or not PURE sine wave, e no dey too matter for things such as this. na for sensitive equipments e dey really matter.
