The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled its suspended National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, former Governor of Ekiti State Ayo Fayose, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike, for anti-party activities.

Their expulsion was announced Saturday 15 November 2025 at the party’s ongoing national convention holding at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan, capital of Oyo State.

The motion for their expulsion was made by one of the PDP’s founding fathers Chief Bode George, seconded by Bauchi State PDP Chair Samaila Buga, put to a voice vote by Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed, and unanimously adopted by members at the convention.

The other 8 expelled PDP members are:

* The party’s National Legal Adviser Adeyemi Ajibade (SAN)
* Umar Bature
* AbdulRahman Mohammed
* Mao Chuambuwa
* George Turner
* Austin Nwachukwu
* Abraham Ammah
* Dan Orbih.
