The only PDP state in South South is Wike state, APC as taken over other state, Bayelsa, cross river, delta, Akwa Ibom and Edo are all APC state, PDP should know how to manage Wike better than loosing the River state to APC again. Fubara boycott the event shows Wike is in control of River state. |

Fareke:When you say governor revolt as the headline and it is only Finitri and Muftwang that only made a statement, isn't you head line misleading... |
| Re: Governors Revolt As Wike’s Expulsion Breaks PDP by hush15: 12:25pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
Moroccoguy:Rivers is already lost to APC since emergency rule kicked in... Fubara is only but a coward but its okay, we understand. In fullness of time, everything will balance but for Wike to remain in PDP is cancerous. Fubara can go join if he wants to. Afterall, he has no balls. |

yinkus6750:As it stands today .. PdP held a " Convention" which inec cant deny they were not duely "invited" ... if inec chose not to come despite court ruling compelling Inec to be on ground ...then inec has no grounds to nullify the convention Bode George is one of the Founding fathers of PDP, and he has proven his loyalty to the party, call it embrassment or whatever you like nobody can be bigger than a Party .... Atiku already defected to ADC, and some others, no point expelling people that have already left, get $en$e You can say Pdp is dead or whatever you like, But the biggest comeback of PDP is successfully holding a convention to the shame of Wike nd Tinubu and people like you ... there biggest turn around was yesterday good riddance to Wike nd his children If expelled members like let them form Parallel govt,. who cares ... as long as they remain ejected for life, pdp can restructure itself |

Fareke:Fintri to me is also among those against the interest of the party. He should disclose openly he is working for the ruling party through Wike. Imagine, how can a sane person doesn't see something wrong with activities of Wike and his gangs. I pity all those still supporting those kind of people.. |

IGBOPROMISE1:When you have 6 or so governors, two becomes a big number, and for the record, it's only when it's one that you can't use that word, from two it's very correct grammatical that is. |

Kindledlight:You didn't answer the simple question I asked. Since Wike is a political god, shouldn't u be happy that he'd be joining the APC freely and win all the South South votes for u guys in 2027? Whether the PDP is able to field candidates in 2027 shouldn't be ur headache. That should be on the PDP. What you guys should be doing now is counting your chickens, considering a potential Wike switch. Your party should be stronger now and invincible with Wike potentially joining. Or is there something I'm missing? |

Kudos to seyi and the rest ,let the party break and let all those who want to leave ,let them go . Them staying in the party is actually what is killing the party . Let them go and join apc . So that those who remain will know they are the real members . Better that way |

Judolisco:Why are you confusing begging for bragging ![]() Wike don overwise climb tree past the leaves. anonimi:>>> >>>>> 2023: PDP and politics of healing Wike’s self-inflicted injury Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld. One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast. Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest. https://www.thecable.ng/2023-pdp-and-politics-of-healing-wikes-self-inflicted-injury/amp ddippset: |

anonimi:forget d lobbying news... Wike fayose and others have been shouting before d primaries, that the election should be a Southern affair... That it won't be fair for a Northerner to take over from another northerner.... The same issue made pdp/Jonathan lose d presidency and everything was orchestrated by Atiku..... Now Atiku had his way won d primaries and wike camp went to Atiku, you've won, nominate wike as your vice.... To bring peace, Atiku refused and picked the delta governor... That same month tinubu sent delegates to wike... Now who is the biggest winner in all of dis scenario, definitely wike.... Atiku is no longer in pdp, he'll run in d next election and lose again..... Wike is still young and has a better chance of becoming president.... Wike is in pdp working for APC, if you expel him, he'll carry all d governors loyal to him to APC... So who is losing again |
