There's a private school in Ikorodu side where the proprietor always frowns whenever teachers want to go home after school closes by 5pm. If he wants to call a meeting, the meeting won't start until after 5pm and will last nothing less than 2 hours.

It's really a curse to be poor in this country.
I once teach in a school whereby on Friday despite the proprietor being a Muslim delayed us with meeting until almost 3pm.

Alhamdulillah for my new job, I can never teach again.

And I pray i get a better paying job.

I support that parent.
Some teachers are very rude and stupid

My own story was this young bus attendant who was in the habit of skipping to come to my house to pick my son to school whenever she saw she was late already.

I reported her and the driver to school authorities one fateful morning.

That same day, in the evening the bus came to drop my child back to the house after school that day.

Imagine this bus attendant at the gate of my house, she beat up my child and dragged him down from the bus. A 3 year old child oh

Even insulted my house girl join the assault. And also snubbed my mother in law that came to intervene

The next day, I went to school, reported her. And she began denying it in front of the Head of school.

I stood up, and used punches to finish her face. I beat her in front of the school owner and all the admins with heavy blows.

As I beat her finish, I apologized to the Head of school for disrespecting her presence.

Then withdrew my child and changed his school

Sge get luck I no beat her into coma.

How dare you transfer anger to my 3 year old boy in front of his own father's house?

Although I will not support what the parents did, why would a teacher slap or physically assault a young student? Slap? Naaaaah!

The teacher could have told the child to kneel. Other punishments can be utilized. No need for physical assault. What if the child had fallen and refused to wake up?

If you defend your children's misbehavior, one day you will hire a lawyer to defend their crimes. Discipline is not child abuse.

I believe the teacher didn't respond as he feared what the school might do to him afterwards. It's so unfortunate
Not fair to the teacher, he's a victim. The public humiliation is enough to neutralise any sanction from the school

As per the report it is also wrong for the teacher to get into a brawl with a student. It waters down his case.

Are you Jesus?

A student push you twice, what do you think is the best reaction? Kneel down?

If the dude was a lady. Would you have said same thing?

The teacher was even low tempered. Someone like me would have rammed his head into a wall and still beat up his parents.

This pure assault, any laws defending our teachers??
Which teacher?

Find out what happened first, this are the same teachers we hear about them abusing children sexually and direct assault on kids.

Some kids die, some left with permanent body damage.

Why will a parent go to school just to slap a teach? Ask yourself

I am not paying school fees for a teacher to abuse my child

The teacher is wrong by using slap as a corrective or disciplinary measure towards the child not matter what the child did.
The parents are as well very wrong by slapping the teacher even in the presence of their child, this will definitely make the child as rude and stupid as u can imagine
The school authority should expell the child, and suspend the teacher for some months (3months)
Re: Parents Slap Teacher In Abuja Private School (Photos) by Stolen: 4:52pm On Nov 16, 2025
THEY WILL JUST BE BEATING PEOPLE CHILDREN ANYHOW.

SOME OF THEM SHOULD NOT BE TEACHERS.

WAT WAS HE DOING BEFORE THE CHILD STARTED PUSHING HIM AND WAS SLAPPING THE CHILD THE BEST HE COULD DO?

DONT THEY HAVE PRINCIPAL OFFICE?

IF THE SCHOOL SUSPEND THE CHILD THAT PARENT SLAPPING U WILL COME AND BEG.

UNA TELL AM IN FRONT OF THE CHILD THAT NEXT MISBEHAVING WILL BE PUNISHMENT ON THE ASSEMBLY GROUND IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE SCHOOL. THEM SIGN GOOD BEHAVIOUR ORDER.

I swear.. these days parents..i dont understand.... back in the days.. when i was in the school (early 90s)...
My teacher, always flogged me with head of broom.. when i reached home with some marks on my body... my mum and my late dad, will just tell me that i deserved that from my teacher, that u must know book 📖.

My mum and my late dad.. will never go to the school to ask the teacher, why u flogged my son...

Rather than my parents will keep on supporting my teacher...

These days parents are messed off...

What is wrong, did you bother to know the reason why the teacher slapped him?

A secondary school student having the effrontery to push his teacher TWICE? Who trains his kids to do that?

Oh! So if it were you and a 16 year student of yours pushed you twice, you will tell him to kneel down and raise up his hands?

Common, the teacher did the best thing! If he went deaf in the process, it is still justified.

When people fail to train their kids at home, then slaps and beatings will be unavoidable.

Even I believe that most private schools exploits their teachers, but I must agree with you that what the teacher did was wrong. Assaulting a minor , except in self-defense can earn you a jail time abroad. Teachers should know how to exercise restraint when dealing with students. Slapping a student is out of place...

Thank you for bringing this here. I saw it on another platform I belong to. It is very bad and despicable. No wonder the society today is corrupt and wayward with sin and crime the order of the day to many youths out there.

IS VIOLENCE ALWAYS THE SOLUTION?

A LITTLE BIT OF INTELIGENCE.

Y NOT ASK THEM TO LEAVE YOUR CLASS OR SEND THEM TO PRINCIPAL OFFICE.

Because they knew the teacher didn’t pounce on you out of 20 student in a class. You definitely did something wrong.

Back then, can you push your teacher twice in school and come home to tell your parents what you did?

Look at those stupid parents! Did they bother to ask what their kid did? If they did, they would have added to the slaps and not come for the teacher.
