Falana is just being deliberate in misleading gullible Nigerians. There is a law in place that makes it criminal to pay ransom in Nigeria. Asking or suing for refund is an open admission to violating the law.

For you to even have a chance of winning the government, You have to report the kidnapping to the police, follow due process according to law and show proof that the police was negligent in their duty. Therefore, your chances of winning is practically zero.
