Drgreatone:Glad the likes of me dey talk. Wonder why people go leave the plenty time tested things to be asking around for those who might have used this or this. even for software industry, there's huge market for outdated softwares and Operating systems. Even me dey use centOs and Debian and even the latest versions of these softwares are always outdated and for a reason. Not everyOne's interested in going bleeding edge. I take my time to find out what works and stick to them |

FEGEITOK:I got it from an electronics shop that had on a street not far from mine. When power was restored, it oscillated for a minute but stopped. The problem is if it oscillates to the left it’s unable to move to the right. |

Can you also try looking at power cabinets? They are metal and already fabricated, come in various sizes, you can fit in the cells and pad the rest of the space. You'd probably need to reinforce one side or the floor to support the weight of the cells Edit: Thinking something like this hxxps://www.youtube.com/shorts/xH6lMd_cML0 Edit: The guys that fabricate enclosures for "local" sound equipment like Amps might also be able to help. The form factor is similar and the components can be quite heavy so the metal is strong enough to handle it. Small adjustment to the measurements and they should be fine. You may be able to find them at Mushin, Arena or Alaba International Tdoctor: |

litaninja:Thanks for confirming. I have already begun thinking in that direction. I also have some metal from an old shelf, and I'm thinking of a welder who can do a good job. DIY is stressful, but the things you learn from it are irreplaceable. |

Mykcool:When a product is popular, fakes of it will abound. Think Oraimo charging cords as an example, I think QASA is no different. Hence, I worry extensively about getting a fake. |

Mykcool:go to any Fan repairer and they could help you change it. One of the gear teeth has chopped. Ask for the Metalic or strong rubber type. I don talk am before, most of those things ain't built to last, and for the Ones that should last more, the price tag would scare + chase away most of us. Mind you, it's often rare to get quality electronic items from roadSide shops and a huge Reason being that the sellers are after what would move fast and you and I know it's often the cheaper things. What you experiencing is cost of going cheap or not researching well. Shey na me go get that kind time ? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 3:21am On Nov 17, 2025 |
FEGEITOK:One of the many things I don tgalk here say even me naturally no dey follow popular things. Often times, people are made to think they are THINKing for themSelves whereAs they were made to think such way. Naturally, me be the sort wey fit dey go NORTH while everyOne else is going South. When Nokia was in vogue, I was on sonyEricsson (which later became sonyXperia) and have used that till date. Even when I needed an auxillary phone, na CAT I buy - never used blackBerry, samsung, Nokia, etc despite all the noise dem make. Imagine how many people that came into this world thanks to blackBerry. Charge Controllers, My firstw as MorningStar, then retained epEver and currently added SRNE to the list. Same with batteries and inverters. Buy once and focus on other things. People would buy inFinix phones becuase they seem CHEAPer but before you know it, they've changed screens and charging ports multiple times they later put it up for sale - Add up all those extra costs and you see it's pennyWise Pounds foolish. if everyOne is going a certain route, most times, it's the wrong one |

Tdoctor:the knowledge sticks much better than classRoom lessons and mind you, mayBe this is your first time or it's not in You BUT DIY can be so FUN you hardly notice the STRESS. na when you force yourselve do something you go notice the stress. As for welding works, if you hard like drilling machine, you could just use bold and nuts - that way, you could dismantle later if need be. We don put enough fear you change from wood ehyaa and you don build the wooden box finish BUT why the likes of VALTO refused to contribute na ? abi him dey... |

bassdow:Cheap ke!? Qasa is one of the most expensive rechargeable fans out there if not the most expensive. I don’t have time on my hands if not I would have decoupled it to search for the problem. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by FEGEITOK: 6:38am On Nov 17, 2025 |
Trippledots:I will contact you. Additional details: I was correct; my Powmr 60A Charge Controller tripped off with Fault code 63, meaning it was overcharged. If I had ever encountered this error, I would never have traveled and left my solar setup as it was. However, I now believe this is due to overpaneling, a factor that was not present previously. |

FEGEITOK:What is your solar charging parameters for your hybrid inverter and external charge controller? If your charge voltage in your inverter is higher than that of the controller, what you are experiencing would be normal as the inverter will take d battery volt higher than that set on the controller. |

Mykcool:funny thing be say, another person fit dey use exact same fan for over 4-years without issues. I recall a particular model of sonyXperia I bought and used for over 5.5-years despite being rough and careLess with the phone, it patiently served me well BUT guess what, reviews online showed lots of people having issues with same model. As e finally pack up, I went to buy same model again thinking I would get same treatment BUT guess what - frustrated me so much in less than 4-months I had to replace it with another model. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:18am On Nov 17, 2025 |
FEGEITOK:but it's the responsibility of the charge Controller to regulate things na. Mine would automatically leave that state the moment the battery gets back to normal + mind you, it's responsibility of a healthy properly working chargeController to ensure overCharging doesn't occur in the first place. Me no dey ever disconnect any of my Solar systems except I'm fixing something on it which is very rare. Even my work PCs could stay powered ON for over 6-months - worst case scenerio, they enter sleep (suspend) mode. overPanneling got it's advantages Oooo. Would only suggest you ensure the Solar panel's capacity isn't above capacity of the chargeController |

Mykcool:if na say na the problem you complain off say e head no dey gree turn the moment e reach a certain side, na the gear teeth don chop. You should be hearing a slight sound; and if you use hand assist am trun past that teeth, e go begin work well till it gets to that part again. No need dismantling it except you get that gear teeth else na waste of time. Even Felicity wey be say the Original one na average build quality get FAKE e come be something like QaSa wey be normal houseHoild appliance |

RickyM:Can you kindly give a rundown on how you went about it? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by RickyM(m): 10:43am On Nov 17, 2025 |
BigDickProblems:Oh well like I posted on here, I took a screenshot of a reflection of sign board on a car glass while on the call with him so I eventually got the name of the pharmacy and I google search it. The pharmacy happened to be in Ikorodu so my brother went to the location and locate the shop he entered to show me the freezer on video chat but the shop has been vacated according to the neighbors. After a constant trial asking questions from strangers, someone said he knows the person and his residence is exactly opposite the pharmacy so on getting there my brother met his wife sister and she claimed nobody is at home except her but the person hinted my brother that it’s a lie and that the man wife is home. My brother went to the nearest police station which is about 10mins away to report the case and on getting back to the house with the police the sister claimed that they aren’t at home still but then the police entered to search and the police found the woman hiding, also their sitting room is already vacated and other loads are tied up waiting for truck already. She was arrested and taken to the police station of which I believed she called her husband and he showed up…I was asked for acc and I got paid but he knew people in the police station so while I got back the amount I sent to him, the money I gave to the policemen wasn’t returned to me. Did it went the way I wanted No!But I am only glad I was able to let him know I can’t be scammed with his local tactics. |
