How can I get an airtel ODU enabled sim alone that I can use to subscribe the 25k 50mbps plan. And what is the IP address ,DNS AND lan setting for airtel ODU

Try this instead.

Log in to the ODU, then go to the DHCP. You should be able to manually assign an IP address to the X25 using the X25’s MAC address. Check the MAC address under the router.

I don’t know what your ODU IP address is but for example, if your ODU IP is 192.168.0.1, that means you can set an address from 192.168.0.2 - 254 (only the digits after the last dot)

In this instance, you can set your X25 as 192.168.0.54. Once this is done, go to your X25 and set 192.168.0.54 as default gateway.

Tried many options. The X25 seems to be stubborn with this. I only succeeded in making only one device connect and browse - the first device to be connected will browse, the rest won't.

The thing took most of my free time.

One thing I found online is that the pro version of this router (i.e. X25 pro and perhaps the now available Max 2) have that root access and in fact have a dedicated WAN from one of the LAN ports. It's not straightforward with this normal X25 router.

I don't have the version with me so I don't have a rubber stamped guide.

You can follow the procedures I posted before with ZTE MC801A.

You can get away with more current, that is using 5A when specs is 4A or below. The device will just take what it needs and leave the rest. Voltage is unforgiving. While the difference is not much, it can affect the device adversely. The best is to look for a power bank of that exact voltage rating.

Do the settings like I said and turn off DHCP on the X25. It should work.

Tried it on my 4G Airtel router with basic features and it works.

Yes na. Both of them have their separate login details written on them, which I have so far bookmarked. I don bookmark many IPs, and some use the same IP - mostly 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1. These can be changed by you if you wish. You can always find the defaults on the labels pasted on the routers.

Meanwhile, I get one wey the data don expire for sale, but it looks like I won't be selling it because transferring ownership is not straightforward.

I just checked it's literally putting the router on 3G mode which will limit the speed there is no way you will get 20Mbps on 3G you can get around 10Mbps to 12Mbps though

I don't think the ZLT ODU has a different ip. At least, I haven't seen any.

The ODU and IDU do different things and thus should have different interfaces. Except if ZLT combined them, they should be different.

This my Huawei Airtel ODU I noticed that the ipv4 was enabled and the ipv6 was disabled by airtel, why ? Does it have any effect on speed? Do you advise me to enable the ipv6? If yes how do I set it up?

The real question is, does Airtel offer ipv6?
To find out, enable ipv6 and visit whatismyipaddressdotcom

I tried visiting the site while connected to the ZTE Airtel ODU, which I am not sure has the option to enable ipv6, however, the site didn't detect ipv6. But with my Starlink, it detected my ipv6 address.

Are you sure about this? Because on my first subscription, I hit 1TB before my speed was reduced to 2Mbps.
