DR Congo deserve the victory.

Their players more skillful, energetic, resilience, pacy and determined for victory.

For Super Eagles, those players deserve their defeat. Poor penalty kicks sealed their failure.

NFF failed this country, it is disgraceful and unthinkable eventuality for Naija football.

What do u expect from a disgraced country? Very shameful to see a tiny country like cape vede with a population of just 590,000 qualifying easily ahead of nigeria with a very huge population of around 230m people.
My bratha if its by population, where is India and China?

So you are saying DR Congo also doesn't deserve to be there?
I guess you don't know or maybe have forgotten how Argentina qualified for the last world cup which they went on to win.
What will congo do at world cup? Just as extra team to dash their groupies easy 3 points
Write it down, they won't pass group stage and they won't win 1 match

There are over a 1000 football leagues around the world
What I want to know is why we can't scout and get decent midfielders to replace the current set?
You mean we can't have a Nigerian player with the ability to control the midfield like Vitinha?
A defensive midfielder like Joao Neves?
Thanks for your observations,
One of the players is a bench warmer in Armenian league, played only one match as a substitute the entire season. But he is in our starting lineup..

Congo played better than Nigeria

The entire Team should be sent packing

Let’s start using new breeds, even if it’s from under 17, in the next 4 years they would have formed a team.
Not all these individual players making millions and thinking playing for Nigeria is a favour they are doing the country

Guess they have received all their bonuses. Can they offer to forfeit it and maybe use it to build a school or construct a bad road to show regret?
You made a great comment but I am not sure you have watched the current u-17 play πŸ˜† . They are even worst.

Gone were those days our u-17 and u-20 teams were spectacular. Our selection system is terrible at the moment. It's more of man know man instead of ability.

NFF is the major root cause of this decadence.

Something i dont understand, why victor osimhen did not played 2nd half because i noticed something, he had issues with his mates and no be this kind game he go just decided not to play full time. He's presence alone is fair for Congo players. Make anybody no talk sey he get injury. The guy get anger issue and he no fit manage am..... see where it leads us to. The first half is better than 2nd half. If I could findout what happened between osimhen and his team mates also NFF. If the blame is on osimhen he has bleeped up big time no be this kind game u go dey follow ur guys fight.
Osimhen has anger issues, a very arrogant attitude, if he doesn’t manage it, he won’t go far in his career

8 years, No World Cup appearance!!!

What a shame.

Idiotic idiots y'all.

This is just so painful.

All the players and the coaching crew and the NFF board should all be sacked and we start all over again.

We couldn't qualify for Under 17, Under 20 and Senior World cup?!
Haba!!

Giant of Africa Our feet!
Bunch of disgrace.

Can you read at all Charley, I said I am glad they are out? Do you yourself feel pain when you are Glad?

Who did this to the once excellent Ghanaian education system, the same one that produced superb primary and secondary school teachers that I am proud to have benefited from? I guess every system has an outlier, paa paa paa!

Massa, just have some pride and come back here to collect your virtual slaps when the black stars return from the World Cup as winners or in disgrace, whichever one happens.

By the way, your yabbis so far is poor, up your game please.

It's not the fault of this Present Coach. He came in after things has been badly damaged. If the past 3 Coaches before him that played world cup qualifiers had achieved at least half of the points he gathered, Nigeria would have qualified as first on the group.

Who watch Super Eagles πŸ¦… under Tinubunomic government of bandits, terrorism. Nigerians are funny ooo. The last time I watch Super Eagle match was 2013 when they win AFCON under GEJ administration. Manners maketh a man, the political stability of a country maketh dream possible in the country. Nigeria is bedeviled by apc.heat and you expect to win or qualify for World Cup. Last time Nigeria participated in World Cup is 2018, lol. Let APC leave power, then you’ll see changesβœ…

Oga leave stone chop rice.

How do you think this Nigerian team would have done at the world cup? Three disgraceful losses and out, Congo at least have some discipline which we totally lack.

Wish them well and move on, it's not like we deserved to beat them (going by what those that watched the match said, I only saw the penalties).

it just shows us how things have decayed over the years, back as a kid in the early up to the late 80s, there were probably just 5 countries in Africa when it came to football, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana Cameroon, the rest were just struggling but now even Cape Verde can rub shoulders with us.
we seriously need to overhaul a lot of things here, we cannot continue like this, nothing is working anywhere.
