The guy na premium pretender. This is while collecting his usual huge pay and making that movie have a production cost of $50mn. This has set A24 on a serious loss cos the movie with all the swag and PR from The Rock, e no gross pass $20mn. 😭😭

There was no reason A24 should have spent that huge money on a drama. That huge on a niche and largely unknown person for a biopic.

Funny thing be say A24 had a similar movie two years ago in The Iron Claw and didn't support that film both in promotion or Oscars season. That movie even made way more money than Dwayne's movie and cost far less despite the way A24 dumped the film with little to no fanfare.

I was surprised how the studio didn't show any support for that film because I was hearing critics' praise leading up to the awards season that year. But A24 no put body.

I remember how the promo dey muzz me that time with how Jordan Peele was the front and centre promo for the fill..... I could barely see the director name mentioned at all just because of Peele is the producer. Film come out and e no gel, I no too heat much noise about the film underperforming apart from the few box office analysis.

Jordan Peele no collect dragging for Twitter for dropping a stinker despite being the face of that film.

Just watched episode 3 of Pluribus: People that are saying they didn’t enjoy it: What are you talking about? I hate to break it to you Pluribus is the best show in the world right now.

I get it though. There are alot of great shows, I struggled with bored while watching e.g Stranger Things, Dark etc.

Sometimes it’s personal biase, if i know its not an action genre I’d avoid it thinking it won’t be interesting; like The Apothecary Diaries, which turned out to be a Banger!

I think the show is good so far but not yet at the level people are hyping...

A lot of the hype surrounding the show is from the producer and not the actual content of the show....because you can't convince me the 3 episodes so far

In the 3 episodes that have released so far, there is nothing worth the reviews it's been getting yet

There's still time for the show to develop to that level tho...so let's wait and see before judging...

As for whether it's the best show on TV right now...I'm not even sure that's a high bar since I can't think of anything worthwhile airing right now aside Pluribus...

Im surprised about the complaints on episode 3 considering my own issues were rather with the characters introduced in episode 2.
Those people felt more like caricatures than actual humans. It was like they all had a combined IQ of 10.

Even if 12 random people worldwide were immune to the virus...it made no sense that half of them were complete selfish idiots who completely lived in denial and without any worry that all the humans in the world were taken over....

It's one thing to accept you can't do much about it, it's another thing to just accept it as fine or a good world. Even the mother who lost her son living in denial that it was still her son...

Maybe there's a twist later that reveals why the survivors were all self-centered àssholes with zero brains...
But right now, they seem like caricatures or cartoonist depiction of characters rather than sensible human characters....

She didn't know na, for the first one. And the second one, even me sef I go curse them, like allow me to breathe, una don kuku know say I nor like una before. So why all of una dey gather me?

While the numbers she is dropping are high for an individual, you can't tell me I'm not allowed to get angry or curse out. Where is my freedom of expression, if everytime I get angry, millions are dropping like flies.

Make una nor come for my head oh, but Breaking Bad wasn't peak for me, as I binged everything at once. Na only Los Polos Hermanos season that made it very interesting for me, Jesse Pinkman was just annoying as f**k for me also.
