Mamman Vatsa was not the Fct minister in 1980. He assumed the position in 1984 when Buhari toppled the administration of shehu shagari.

Wike attracted opprobrium to himself,he acts like an emperor but this is democracy however nobody is asking for his removal now,I only want him to leave with Tinubu in 2027.
But if Tinubu decides to sack him,there are so many responsible southerners out there.
Dont forget that he Wike has continuously stepped on toes and has always acted against the wishes of the masses.
The list is endless,the blatant rigging of the presidential elections in Rivers,the obnoxious state of emergency in Rivers state,the indiscriminate demolishing of houses and reacquisition of such properties by FCDA as directed by the emperor,the mercenary contract of killing PDP and making sure that we dont have viable opposition(thankGod for the obidient movement),the list goes on and on.

actually the first minister of the FCt was a southerner. Ajose Adeogun. Although at that time, the FCT only existed in concept and planning stages.

But, let's be honest, Wike is trying in terms of infrastructure in Abuja.

This list is not correct/complete. Where is Major-General Mamman Kontagora. He was the FCT Minister in 1999, when I wrote my SSCE in GSS, Jiwa. He visited the school during the period. So I can't forget his name. The most popular FCT Ministers on my list are: Jeremiah Oseni, Major-General Mamman Kontagora, Nasir El Rufai and Nyonsome Wike, in no particular order.

And Wike remains d most controversial.
And most popular alongside the El Rufai
Though to be honest Wike typifies d average Nigerian and what we desire to do in our secret dreams if power is given us. Go top govt offices and see people with small position oppress those in need of smthng from them. It's in our gene, in our DNA and it's bad.

What's this one saying, how old are you, for how long have you been in Abuja, and how well do you understand Nigeria?

If there is anything to learn from this, it is that

TIME IS TRANSITIONAL or time is in transit. What is shacking you today is someone's yesterday and what you are jealous of today is someone's tomorrow. We are only here for a short time, so do not get carried away by this life. When was FCT itself created? Imagine 45 years ago, there was no office for the Minister. Things change.

Do not let the temptation of your current position fuuuuul you into thinking you're a God. El Rufai was a Governor of Abuja and Kaduna. He's resting now. There's nothing new under the sky fellow human beings.

If there's anything to learn from this, it is that Nairaland modz don't care about sources of posts, they just push things to our faces. Thank you. It's your time for now.
