My brother, many families and loved ones in Nigeria don't think shït of you if you're broke (thank God I am an exception), so if death comes to a broke man here, he'd likely face it alone.

Death can happen to anyone, anywhere and anyhow it so wishes.

This is often the case in most Nigerian crime news. The stench is what calls people's attention to the death. In fairness, I don't think Nigeria will have it as worse as the West except it is someone trying to hide bodies because people must observe you. People even observe their enemies to know if they are still alive or well for another fight

We all need people. We should get to a stage in life where someone must know your whereabouts or live with you. But what am I even typing? The dead person no longer cares, it makes no difference if anyone found their dead body earlier or not, only the living cry after the dead

I had a colleague back in the days whose lineage hardly lived beyond 40. God is my witness on this. He approached me in the office one day and told me.He was almost 40yrs old. Though much older than I was, we were on same level. I told him to take it to God in prayer and I'd pray with him. He's almost 55yrs old now. He broke the curse with prayers.

However, something shocked me. Around 2019 he wrote RIP, sister on his FB wall and I called to ask what happened. He said the last born of the family, his sister died and they'd be taking her body home. He said there was nothing wrong with her when they last saw a few days back. I asked how old and he said she was about clocking 40. You see?

Many people perish for lack of knowledge. This life is spiritual. There are some curses following some generations due to the evil their forebears had done. Only God can break such curses.

Why do our leaders japa there for health care only for their bodies to japa here for burial? Isn't death the same? It's unfair to us

It is not easy for those abroad, they go through a lot, from cold weather, that winter that is like Ice block. You cannot stay outside especially when its windy that is death. They also go through depression, because we are used to sunlight, and its less. Then sometimes racism, and then no friends or family. And you have to work hard, not like here where you can relax small or go to someone to get assistance.

He probably had no one checking on him.

If not for this senseless insecurity and poor leadership, Nigeria is like heaven, we are blessed, the environment is rich, and you are free to do what you want to do. I just dislike this insecurity and the crazy ideas that are manifesting due to religious extremism

Our mind is our poison here in Africa, if not everything is so good in Africa. We have abundant sunlight that can generate all the electricity we need, we have forest and good lands. Is just the evil mind that we have developed that is the disadvantage.

They have this mentality that abroad is heaven and everything is perfect.
Back yo your opinion on the issue.. that can definitely be one of the reason , I personally think may be he overworked himself without proper res time time... that happened yo alot of people abroad

You are right, its more likely he over worked himself, without compensating with rest.

One needs rest, even if the savings is little is better to observe rest, than to lose life.

Its not easy to make friends and keep friends, everyone is busy with their own life. Maybe if he attended Church at least he would see more Nigerians there. And someone will be checking on him.

I was fortunate to have many friends, because i was in school, its easier there. But when one is not in school its very hard to make any friend.

If you are single and living alone in the UK, always have that one family member or friend you communicate to everyday.
