Honestly I don’t think this has ever happened before. Nigerians love to add names to stupid serious matters like this. How can you say a mentally unstable person got close to a trained soldier that knows that his arm is his life at any moment. Over powered the soldier, removed it from safty, pointed the gun at him and shot him while others where runing or hiding?

How did a mentally unstable man disarm a soldier? Even if the man have legions of demons in him, what were the soldier's colleagues doing or was he the only personnel in that checkpoint?

You underestimate a demon? If this story is true as reported, then a demon used the mad man as an instrument to execute a sentence. You don't know what one demon can do.

The soldiers are so badly trained that a mentally challenged person can easily disarm them, and you wonder why terrorists alias bandits are having a field day

This story gets k-leg.
I believed the gun should be in safety position, meaning if you shoot (pull the trigger) it will not shoot. What I don't get is how a madman overpowers a soldier, unlocks the gun from safe position, and opens fire on him.

Was the soldier's rifle cocked and ready to fire? Cos a "mentally unstable man" not only disarmed him, but removed the rifle from safety, cocked it, aim and fired. Highly unlikely...

Since I was born , I have never been shock by a news like this one , one solder can't be on duty they are always 2, so when. You see your college struggling with a mad man what were you doing, what was people around doing, mmmmmmm,

Mentally unstable man snatched a gun from a soldier in check point and killed him? ok. If I may ask, was the soldier the only uniform person in that checking point? Mentally unstable man was able to operate a gun? Was the mentally unstable man apprehended? All this questions need an answer and then we can really know what really went wrong
