Another thing I wanted to mention on your Dynamite Kisses review is when you said hope they won't say they have a childhood connection, I just laughed when I saw that in her flashback scene of her dad and sister, she was wearing a taekwondo uniform and when the male lead also had a flashback with his mum, he was also wearing one. I said 'see the link here🤣🤣.

Saw a video on YouTube of Lee Min Ho and Ji Chang Wook at an award ceremony. I don't think they have been in a drama or movie together before so it was nice seeing them interacting like friends.

Omo I really hope Nana and her mom are ok. Apparently a robber broke into her house when she was home alone with her mom. There was a physical altercation but they managed to subdue him but apparently they sustained injuries. I just hope it's nothing serious. I wonder if it's a real robber or someone they know. Hell it could be a disgruntled family member, employee, ex, anything but oh well. As long as she and her mom are alright

Random post: the year is coming to an end. Time for me to rate how Dem kpop people did for me. I don't have energy to do all in one post so I think I'll take it little by little

Musically I don't think sm did great this year. They did really well by having a lot of their groups and soloists promote but I don't know, I feel like the only reason they managed to sell is cos the groups already have a large fanbase so even if they release bleh music, they'll still make money. Among the people that released music, the only people I was really impressed by was shinee's key and riize. Aespa continues to be their biggest money maker right now but I feel like they're slowly going the blackpink way where the music might not be great but their popularity makes up for sales. It also doesn't help that a lot of their artists have left the label, exo is remaining like 5, taemin is out, Wendy and yeri left, super junior are basically doing their own thing even though they're still sort of associated with the label. At least they did manage to give that ex riize boy his seperate promotion. All in all, I think they did fairly well but they need to bring back some of their former songwriters. One thing about sm, they used to debut groups with super catchy songs but this their new girl group, while their debut song was pretty good, it's just not as catchy as their sunbaenims debut songs.

Well their biggest group blackpink is no longer under the label "technically" so while the girls are doing fantastic both solo wise and as a group. I can't credit yg for anything lol. They still benefit from the sales but the girlies have more control now and I'm happy for them. Also I was very pleased with their 1 song that they released this year 🙄 it's a different sound for them and they killed. Not sure about their solos tho, Jennie's was good thanks to all the featuring especially that one with doechii, jisoo's song with Zayn Malik made me want to sleep 🤣 Lisa😩 anyway they'll always make money no matter what they do. Baby monster got more promotion since they're the only girl group left but they aren't as successful as blackpink yet(hopefully they'll get there cos they are good). As for boy groups ikon and big bang left years ago. Winner is on hiatus. All they have is treasure and even though they make good music, I don't think they are that popular in Korea. At least they're very popular in Japan so there's foreign currency coming in. I think YG needs to push them more. For soloists akmu's chanhyuk and winner's seungyoon released good music but I'm pretty sure only their fans cared. It didn't appeal to the public as much.

I honestly think these are the real winners of 2025 just cos they have so many labels under them haha just buy labels and chop the benefits. BTS has been absent due to enlistment but they have seventeen, le sserafim, enhyphen, txt, katseye all with large to sizeable fan bases so even if the songs aren't great, their fanbase will make up for it. Their new group cortis is very popular even though I don't think their music is all that but I guess that's what the kids like these days 🤣. I hear they're also planning to debut a Spanish boy group so more money from the Latin market. I think they'll have a good 2026 too cos apparently new jeans is back, seventeen might be enlisting but BTS is coming back so there's no way they aren't making more money in 2026. My one problem with them is the quality of their music. A lot of it is just bleh fueled with vibes and a catchy beat. Txt seems to be going downhill when it comes to music quality. I hope they do better.

This actually wasn't a bad drama. There's just something about it that didn't do it for me. I think it's the fact that only 1 episode aired per week so it seemed like the story was dragged out. I think if it aired normally, it would be a pretty ok watch

Heroes Next Door is my most favourite drama among the currently airing ones. I hope it continues to be so. Looking forward to when the whole group come together.

I'm glad to see @ovems say she's really enjoying heroes next door cos as for me and my house 😅 it's just there. I don't know maybe it's cos I was dead exhausted from work or something but I struggled to get into it. Especially episode 1, the humor seemed a little too try hard and almost slapstick-y, I guess episode 2 was a bit better but tbh I was so tired I skipped through the thing. I do love the cast tho, my queen Kim ji hyun, she's such a versatile actress and I wish she got a lot of chances to show her versatility, Lee Jung ha my baby is also here and wow Jin sun kyu really bulked up for this role o, pretty sure the last time I saw him in a drama he was as tiny as a fly. I want his gym contact and fitness regimen 🤣 the husbands being afraid of their wives took me out 🤣 but honestly the treatment of children in this drama is having me side eye everybody cos what do you mean you moved into an area the day before and you're so confident leaving your 6 year old daughter in a shop with a strange man so you could quickly buy something from the next shop lmao you no dey fear? Or is it because the place is kinda rural? As for the parents of teenagers 🤣 you know your daughter is a hormonal boy crazy teen and you're getting her a hot oppa tutor and will obviously leave them together with little to no supervision, hell she's already contacting him in her private time like he's her boyfriend, are they not afraid she'll get groomed by an adult? Maybe they trust her to be sensible and just stay crushing oh well. Hopefully the drama on't be a disappointment storywise
