If you plan to take advantage of the UBA $20 discount. The best way to do so is to find a dollar card and fund it using BDC. That way you get USD at prevailing market rate and still enjoy $20 discount while not paying the exorbitant 1542/$ UBA charges. |

Hey guys. If you've ever been charged customs duty on a phone from AliExpress kindly share how much you were charged/paid and what product. I've seen a couple of near flagship Xiaomi product on a discount and thinking of getting one because of the price, but want to be sure it's all worth it vis a vis customs duty. Thanks |

HeavenlyBang:I received my Malaysia Post order from September 1st yesterday. Suddenly received notification earlier last week of movement from linehule office to local courier. Glad that chapter is closed. Funny part is I already got a refund as buyer protection ended a week or so prior. I have since contacted the seller to let him know and will be making payments to him later today. |

I intend to purchase either a Poco F7 ultra or the Xiaomi 15T pro from AliExpress the next 24 hours as it's currently on a discount, but not sure what what customs charge as duty for flagship Xiaomi devices. The AliExpress review system is totally broken now. I ordered a charger with a 4.9 rating during the 11/11 sales. I clicked on the same charger and discovered that the rating is now 4.6. I got curious and started running through the reviews, then I realised that a lot of 1-star reviews that weren't present when I ordered the product had suddenly appeared. Looking at the dates that the reviews were posted, they were apparently hidden during the 11/11 sales, considering that I took my time to go through the 1 star reviews before ordering and I didn't see anything of such. This is another good example. The first screenshot is the advertised product ( 90 degree cables) while the second one contains the reviews. It's obvious that the cables are not the same
