You aren't the one to decide who is competent to do a job. It is strictly the perogative of the President and he chooses Wike. If Wike isn't meeting up to his expectations, we will change him just as he changed the service chiefs but till then, Wike remains the FCT Minister

In 1976 when they created FCT and the design and Masterplan were to be developed in Lagos. The New FCT Committee or Commission was headed by Mobolaji Ajose Adeogun . He was not Minister.

When Lagos (Lagos Island and Apapa) was the Capital in the days of Azikiwe & Ahmadu Bello, Musa Yaradua and Muhammad Ribadu were Minister of Lagos Affairs at different times. They used Politics to prevent a YORUBA man from being Minister of Lagos Affairs.

Wike is an appointee of the president and not an elected person. There isn't any much political gain or loss in wike been an FCT Minister. In the case of Jonathan if you were alive then, you will see how badly he managed the economy of the country. On the contrary, we all know including the bitter haters of Wike that when it comes to performance, Wike is doing absolutely well.
