this statistics can't be real... the total number can never be known. There are people that were kidnapped and no one heard of the issue

I know three people that were kidnapped last year. One of them was killed. The other lady was released after her family raised the money.

The boy that was killed was because his mother refused to pay, even though the yahoo boy left all his money with the mother.... d mother refused, she Said she nor get pim to spend

It is a political and economical banditry against the south east...

Give the impression that the east is unsafe to discourage investors from investing in the east.

They are under APC payroll..

The anti IGBO propaganda is an agenda, powered by APC

SE would have had no kidnapping cases but FG shot itself in the foot by creating the UNGM to descredit IPOB by doing so and creating security instability just to descredit the sucession attempts of the IPOB you ended up making your government look bad especially when called out by trump....have you noticed you dont hear of UNGM anymore cause it was alwats sponsored by the FG cheesy

What a disgraced nation. People are kidnapped in their thousands by so-called bandits. Sons, brothers and fathers of some people yet nothing can be don by our military might. But we can go and return peace to war turned countries, yet home is not safe!

The governors are complicit to this menace, put pressure on the legislative to make kidnapping and terrorism a capital offence punishable by death. Until we do that, we are not going anywhere.
Harsh laws do not deter criminals. It is apprehension they fear the most and conviction.

If the clear up rate for kidnapping by the security agencies was high, the vice would drop dramatically.

Did some of you go to school at all? How can someone sit down and cook up crime figures? If you want to know how they got the figures, you can email them.
You should ask yourself that question.

There's nowhere statistics are published without a clause of how the numbers were gathered. Even in academia.

Only illiterates will consume statistics based on assumptions. I didn't solicit for the statistics, so they should should publish how they got them instead of shoving unverifiable numbers down our throats..

Satisense has always failed in this area

Dey whine yourself. So you think they just go into a village and tell them to come and line up for kidnapping without killing anyone. In many cases of kidnapping, just know that more people die trying to escape than the people that are actually kidnapped

So SW has a good representation of kidnapped victims.

So UGM, Amotekun,OPC, Sunday IGBOHO boys, Tinubu disciples are making the SW a region of instability.

This is a sophisticated shame. grin
Does this make you happy?

What if I tell you that a considerable percentage of the people kidnapped in the SW are Igbos?

If you have a working brain, you should know that a large number of Igbos are in the SW and the equally share in the fortunes and misfortunes of that region.

12 years of kidnapping data are in, and the numbers are startling. While some states grab headlines, you might be surprised to see which 12 states reported the lowest number of victims between 2011 and 2023.
