litaninja:Ah!!! Core i5 Toshiba Tecra Laptop wey still dey work like I just got it. As at when I bought it, the screen + keyboard + casing + battery were bad. Got it for less than 20,000 naira. I just use petrol wash the motherBoard, change the casing to a blueRay homeTheather player's casing, forced the entire laptop to directly use 12volts directly from the chargeController, I already use external keyBoard + monitor + mouse hence na to plug the relevant cables. Funny enough, it's been over 6-years and na him I dey use type so. Overtime, I have upgraded the Ram (16GB) + hardDisk(1TB) + even turned the diskDrive space to also use hardDrive (another 500GB) thanks to caddyDisk to accomodate my usuage and it's been working like brand new. Even the Casing I used has enough room for airFlow + has a fan that I kinda made a switch so it comes on during the day further cooling the entire system. na for wall I hang am make e no follow clutter ma workSpace. Hopefully, e go serve me for the next +10years. Me no dey easily use something good remain for another person to buy. I go use e body + soul finish |

RickyM:but I recall telling you that's how the police operate. na dem go give you the money so there's little room for you to take anything more than they give you and it's often 50% and they never consider what you spent or gave them before the person was caught. |

codeME:I'm looking around for a 10kWish battery - and found this website (https://www.elitepowergroup.com.au/news/how-to-choose-the-best-solar-battery-10kwh-16kwh-20kwh-australia/). Should I be looking into getting a 10kWh battery? Is that what everyone else is going for? I have a 1-2 person household with a 3.3kW solar system. |

My Sako inverter has been displaying two error codes today. Error 51 (overcurrent or surge) Error 58 (Output voltage is too low) The persistent one is error 58, nothing is coming on. I've disconnected all inputs and outputs, as well as the battery. It's still the same thing. What could possibly be wrong? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:37pm On Nov 18, 2025 |
Forrkke:First you didn't tell us the brand of the inverter or even the model. Secondly, disconnecting connected appliances ain't enough. You also need disconnect if from the battery and power it off completely for at least 5-minutes (so the internal components such as capacitors discharge) and if there's a reSet button, you use it. Atimes this things requires random things to make it work. Too much smartNess sef dey come with e own wahala. |
