A lawyer recently took to social media to teach his followers how to acquire a house for free.

He explained that when someone walks into a neighborhood and sees an abandoned house, they should enter the house and start living there. He said one should simply live in the abandoned house for 10 to 12 years. "Be there, and after ten to twelve years, the house is now your own," he said.

He added, "Just pray that the owner of the house doesn't come before the ten to twelve years to tell you it's his house."

"But after the ten to twelve years, you are the owner of that land. Even if he comes after ten to twelve years, you are now the owner of that land. Just plead adverse possession in court, and that is finish. Immediately the court hears adverse possession, the court will tell the person sorry, the land now belongs to you," he explained.

However, he jokingly warned, "If you are doing this kind of thing, you have to be sure you have JuJu and your JuJu is very strong. Because if the owner of the land comes to court and the court tells him adverse possession, it's now your land, the owner might not want to leave and might go to the other 'court,' and it's not we lawyers that are usually in the other court that I am talking about. We deal with law and not spirit."
