this recurring tragedy underscores a critical need for a paradigm shift in our security strategy. We must move beyond reactive measures and build a proactive, technology driven defense system.

This is where the Need for a Drone Command Center comes in

The vast and rugged terrain of Northern Nigeria makes traditional ground patrols insufficient. A Drone Command Center (DCC) is not a luxury it is a necessity for the following reasons
Force Multiplication a single drone unit can monitor an area that would require hundreds of troops on the ground, providing real time intelligence over impossible distances.

Persistent Surveillance Drones can loiter for hours, tracking bandit movements, identifying hideouts, and monitoring the abducted girls without risking human lives.

Actionable Intelligence They provide clear video and thermal imagery, allowing command centers to see exactly what the security forces are dealing with number of hostages, number of kidnappers, Weapon type andterrain layout before any rescue operation is launched.

we must cancel the wasteful spending on outdated strategies. It's time to re allocate resources, to defund the methods that don't work and invest in technology that does.

The blueprint for a safer Nigeria is ready. Reach out to me via my bio to engage, collaborate, and demand this change.

The game changer is clear Strategic Deployment of Drone Technology
Imagine a Nigeria where our security forces can See threats from miles away, across vast terrains.
You've said it all, the traditional method of fighting insecurity is not working and should be discontinued. Technology is the way to go.

We should also factor in political solutions like decentralisation of power from the centre to it sub unit(Regional system of government)

May Nigeria succeed.

We rise by lifting others.

Sadly these old cargos in power will never do this and as such the paradigm will not change any time soon untill it will be at the edge of seperating nigeria as a country.
This your point is the only solution to make our military solid and able to win this war at hand
Our leaders dont know what to do instead the carry their minions and ride along multiple security personnels as backup. (I.e defence minister visiting zamfara off lately) not knowing just multiple RPG lunches at strategic locations will end the story for that day.. everyday these people leading us waste to advance our defence tactical team and upgrading our military, they give the upper hands to this terrorist/ bandits aka iswap and CO.
But soon they will understand.

You're right to focus on drone capability, but when it comes to war, there's no such thing as a cheap drone. What works for a movie set or a land survey won't cut it on the battlefield. You need military grade hardware that can survive electronic warfare, harsh conditions, and enemy attacks. The cost isn't about the drone itself it's about the guaranteed result. In combat, failure is not an option, so you have to use the best tools that will deliver the decisive outcome you need.

erniok:
I have said it before that to effectively combat this scourge, we need eyes inthe sky 24/7. There are cheap military grade drones to achieve this but I guess the military is not interested in this new warfare format.

Wrong time for anybody to enlist into the Nigerian army...

Unless you want to volunteer yourself to be used as suya....
That's an unpatriotic mindset, you join and enlist in the army because of the love of the fatherland, but in Nigeria, people join the army because of unemployment, inferiority complex in order to oppress others, and other wrong motives, in other countries this is the time citizens rush to enlist in the army. We are quite lucky this country has a large population, if we were small, enlistment in the military will be compulsory and nobody will have a choice because it will be an issue of national survival. Even in the Iraqi invasion, american troops died in huge numbers , the issue is even with technology you cant understand a terrain more than the locals. A lot of american casualties came from landmines and boobytraps.especially during the initial phases of the assault. You wont hear it on media too much.Because of it is classified, but American families knew the sacrifices they made and huge losses they had.

Only drone technology cannot solve Nigerian security challenges, Firstly,we must cleanse and purge our security forces of saboteurs. Secondly, we must know how to classify information in this country.Information can be matter of life and death if we dont know what is classified and unclassified information. What i have discovered in this country is that our politicians, security agencies, ( Police, Army, Navy etc, dont know what should be classified and unclassified hereby undermining security efforts . Thirdly, is the social problem in a society where the ruling elites subjugated the masses and dont provide education bought breeding poverty will continue to be a continuing breeding ground for bandits, extremists and terrorists. Even if you have all the drones in the world without solving that social issue everything will be in futility.

When will Tinubu be an ọmọlúwàbí of integrity by resigning as he advised PDP’s Jonathan, not so long ago huh

OredoPikin2:
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday said President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration lacks the wherewithal to tackle the country’s security challenges.

The former Lagos State governor therefore asked Jonathan to resign as Nigerian president.

The APC chieftain spoke in Ilorin, Kwara State, during the formal declaration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed’s bid for second term in office.

The event was attended by former head of state and APC’s presidential aspirant, Muhammadu Buhari, former vice Abubakar Atiku and governors of Imo, Rivers, Kano, Sokoto and Edo States.

Also in attendance were – the Speaker of House of Representative, Aminu Tambuwal, Senator Bukola Saraki, former governors of Kwara and Ekiti States, Alhaji Shaaba Lafiagi and Dr. Kayode Fayemi, APC’s spokesperson, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, member, Board of Trustees of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje and Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Razak Atunwa.

Tinubu said, “I saw the sea of refuges caused by the Boko Haram insurgents and the lies coming from Jonathan’s administration. They have exhibited failure, lack of capacity, vision and creativity. The lies of yesterday are what they repeat today and are what they will repeat tomorrow. They are lying to you.

"They are lying about the security, toying about the security of this country. I don’t have time to explain the logic of their lies.

But if you control the armed forces and you are the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic, why should any part of this country be under occupation? And you give us excuses every day. In any civilized country Jonathan should have resigned. But if he will not resign, he should wait for our broom, we will sweep him away. I will come back.

“This is just the endorsement of Governor Ahmed, that he will be re-elected by the grace of God with the support of you people here and those outside there. The unemployment situation will be conquered by this administration of APC. We have the vision for the security of the lives of our children.

The thieves that daily steal your money have not given you any job, they cannot create jobs and they are starving states of funds to pay workers salaries. The best thing to do is to sweep them away through broom revolution. APC is a party of the masses.

“It now behooves on you to begin a house to house campaign that this is a party of the masses.”

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Tinubu has never spoken against the deadly activities of Fulani herdsmen across the country

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.

Tinubu rules out alliance with CPC

Prospect of a possible alliance between the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, was dashed yesterday in Kano as the leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu described CPC as parading “expired leadership.”

Tinubu told ACN supporters in Kano during the party’s Presidential rally that: “What Nigerians need now is a transformation in leadership” as obtained in the advanced economy.

The two-term Governor of Lagos State explained that the leadership of ACN was offering Nigeria the brilliance of Nuhu Ribadu who, he said, is in the class of Nicolas Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain, Medvedev of Russia and Barack Obama of the United States of America.

“What has CPC got to offer? We certainly don’t need expired leadership as we are offering the best in terms of brilliance, courage and patriotism in the class of Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain and Barack Obama of the USA.”

Tinubu’s position came on the heels of Ribadu’s declaration penultimate week in Kaduna when he hinted during a political rally of a joint ticket between the two opposition parties to confront the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The national leader of ACN criticised President Goodluck Jonathan for shying away from the national debate held last Friday, stressing that”that singular act exposed Jonathan as a coward who has nothing to offer.”

Why can't the military hunt down the people that capture and executed a general, if only ISWAP were unarmed civilians in SS and SE.
