President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the killing of personnel of the Nigerian Army by ISWAP terrorists.

This is contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday in Abuja.

DAILY POST reports that ISWAP terrorists abducted and killed some soldiers including Brigadier General Musa Uba.

The President sought the support of Nigerians in local communities for the security operatives to perform optimally.

“I sympathise with the military over the death of the gallant soldiers and Brigadier General Musa Uba, who paid the ultimate price while on active duty fighting insurgents in Borno state.

“As the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, I am depressed with the tragic death of our soldiers and officers on active duty. May God comfort the families of Brigadier General Musa Uba and other fallen heroes.

“Our security forces cannot succeed in protecting us if the people don’t cooperate and share information that will help them keep our communities safe.

“Your cooperation is crucial in our fight against these security challenges,” the President said.

Last week,I met a friend of mine who recently joined the Nigerian army..The first thing that came to my mind was--"who advised this bro to take this path?" . The same army that my father served in,and he's now seriously against the idea of any of his children enlisting into it.....

I pity our soldiers,cuz they're definitely on their own..

Depressed and you are traveling out of the country

You're not any depressed

You're only thinking of 2027 election

He will never take any strong action for now for the fear of losing Fulani support for upcoming 2027 election because in core North, Fulani are the ones controlling their politics.

If he will ever take action, that will be after he have won 2027 re-election. So, his tribes men should be patient with the killings . Even if it will take more 500 lives of his tribe's men, they have to be patient tilll after he is re-elected

Above is the condition of things some people don't know in Nigeria type of politics.

We have to fight for the soul of Nigeria same way people fought for the soul of PDP.

These current crop of politicians don’t care. All they want is extortion and extortion of the masses .

anybody that believes in “repentant-terrorist” is a sick person… the penalty for being a terrorist is death.

After these terrorist are being repented, the government shuffles them into the military forgetting these terrorist are still loyal to their masters.

The repentant terrorist are the spy in the military, they give information to their masters on how the military operate.

A whole Brigadier General Musa was ambushed, yes I feel he was ambushed, someone in their midst gave out intel and he walked into the trap.
