This thing has caused a big argument in my workplace. My major reason for believing she is overweight is from watching her performances. If she deviates past standing and singing, you hear her struggle for breath. Music videos paint a different picture as those are short clips of seconds stitched together to form a couple of minutes.

My colleagues from one tribe claim she is of a healthy weight. Others from another claim her knees will soon give way from excess consumption.

Is Tems fat?

Tems is overweight. There is no other definition for her condition.

She has a perfect body due to her height. To calculate the BMI to determine if someone’s is underweight or overweight, their height is also a factor. If she was shorter than maybe, a little overweight but with her towering height, she’s perfect.

To calculate BMI: weight (kg)/ height (m)^2

Below 18.5= underweight

18.5~24.9= healthy weight

25.0~29.9= overweight

Above 30.0= obese

Tems should be in the second category due to height.

Also, let's be real: you're probably the first person I've ever heard make that claim about her. If she sees nothing wrong with her body, then there's absolutely nothing wrong. Trust me, if there was genuinely an issue, the American media would have absolutely dragged it out by now, or her own colleagues would have stepped in.

If we were having this conversation on an American forum, you'd definitely be getting called out for body-shaming right now.

How many colleagues have we seen rag on Wande Coal for being overweight? How many for Rick Ross or Lil Wayne when he was ready to kill himself with drugs? Changing one’s lifestyle for the better is a self choice. No one can force you to do otherwise. She doesn’t see anything wrong with her body because of men online thirsting for her curves. Couple that with the natural laziness of Nigerian women and it’s understandable why she remains obese.

Nah…. Like the saying goes, when a person runs mad, the shame isn't theirs—it belongs to their family. If you keep posting unreasonable things online, you can't blame the world for questioning our overall IQ.

She can look like the picture, but if her cardio is good, I will only complain about her size. Not only does she look one meal away from the picture, her stamina is also lacking. She is unfit and overweight. Zero muscle definition on her body. From the way she talks, one can tell she is averse to any form of physical activity.
