Ihejirika didn't terrorise boko haram, a lot of soldiers lost their lives back then. He couldn't even kill Shekarau till he handed over to Minimah

The military was also ill-equpied with a lot of bomb blast happening all over the north. An army officer created a thread about the havoc boko haram was unleashing in the north back then, the thread had to be taken down at some point

While BH was advancing and marching toward Abuja, he busied himself killing the vulnerable the lame, the blind, the beggars. There are videos of his army rounding people up and executing them summarily. As if this was some kind of revenge mission for ancestral grievances. His forces killed the civilian population while the actual insurgent threat went largely unopposed.

You are 100% correct. Ihejirika was a busy killing innocent local northerners instead Boko-Haram. It got so bad that people realised Ihejirika had deep rooted hatred for Muslim north and he used his position as Chief of Army Staff to execute his personal war on northerners. Things got so bad that most northerners saw the army under Ihejirika as their enemy that had come to execute them because the army kept on decimating entire village after villages
And it was during his reign as army chief that BH was at their peak controlling territories and bombing Kano and Abuja
These people like to hail their failures too much

Pure lies. The chief of army staff that gave Boko Haram the hottest hell was Buratai followed by Minimah. BH actually festered under Ihejirika. So don't bring your propaganda here.

If not that President Jonathan was a weakling and a coward who easily bow and melt under presume you wouldn't hear of any terrorists operating in the Northern Nigeria today. Yet despite the atrocities that Buratai committed during his time, Buhari refused to remove him.

The name Ihejirika terrified terrorists in North during his reign. Ihejirika was aware that there were moles within the military, he often hid intelligence gathered and future military onslaught on the terrorists from other military chiefs. Top northern military chiefs will wake up to read on newspaper, Nigerian army's successful air raid and attack on BokoHaram just like every other Nigerian.

Ihejirika decimated terrorists to an extent that northern elders have to dragged him to International Criminal Court for genocide. Had it been Jonathan didn't remove him out of fear dude would have concluded his plan in 12 months time and free northern Nigeria from terrorists.

"Political will" and "a military with no internal sabotage" are all that are needed to end terrorism in Nigeria

Nigerians are not ready for a better system. And let me say it without mincing words, it will hurt them but it is the truth. The only tribe that has the magic wand to turn Nigeria around are the Igbos.
