"God Will Pun!sh You Now and Forever” — Nnamdi Kanu Shouts at Prosecuting Counsel in Court

During a court appearance on November 20, 2025, Nnamdi Kanu shouted, “God will punish you now and forever!” at the prosecuting counsel—and possibly the judge—amid tense proceedings at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The outburst happened on the same day the court was scheduled to deliver judgment in his long-running terrorism trial. Kanu, who had earlier dismissed his legal team to represent himself, became enraged when he was asked to step out of the courtroom for allegedly disrupting proceedings and preventing the court from delivering its judgment.
