Prophets like Elijah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Nathan were sent to correct people in the Bible by calling out their sins and urging them to repent. These prophets confronted kings and people with their idolatry, injustice, and disobedience to God's covenant, warning of consequences while also speaking of God's mercy and path to reconciliation.

Elijah: Confronted the wicked King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, denouncing the worship of other gods.

Jeremiah: Warned the people of Judah about their rebellion, idolatry, and social injustice, and prophesied that they would be taken into exile if they did not repent.

Isaiah: Was sent to the people of Judah to tell them to "stop doing evil! Learn to do right; seek justice and correct the oppressor".

Nathan: Confronated King David after his adultery with Bathsheba and his role in Uriah's death, revealing the consequences of his actions.

Amos: Spoke out against social injustice and oppression, particularly against the poor and vulnerable.

Micah: Reminded people that true religion was to "act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God" and confronted the hypocrisy of empty religious practices.

Zechariah: Was sent by God to speak to King Joash, revealing that the people's refusal to follow God's law would lead to judgment. Zechariah was later stoned to death for his message.
