Yea, but the SINR value, which is quite crucial, is good enough. I get mostly 3 signal bars and sometimes max of 4 bars on that band.

Bands 3 and 8, which always have full bars with lower RSSI and RSRP values (lower is better for these), have lower SINR values. Higher is better for SINR, a crucial metric.

Band 7 is always faster than all of them, even when the network is having its customary issues.

It's requested for phone number and code, I have used both the ODU and my alternative number but non works, what is the way around it and how useful is the app?

You're talking smart app or the ODU web interface, which appears to be what's shown on the image you posted? The password to this is written at the back of the ODU.

Makes sense. I have never seen it positive though.

I have noticed what someone said here is true. All bands perform abysmally at night. Maybe it's my location but that's irritating and totally frustrating.

Interestingly, switching the router to 3G only, although reading very low on speed tests, appears to at least be usable for streams.

So, tonight, even switching to 3G only is exactly unhelpful.

Have you locked the cell here..... because I was expecting to see more frequency bands. Though it's a quality cell with that high SiNR, yet the RSRP negative value is high, meaning it will rarely be stable and available. Try and move it around and see if by chance you can reduce the RSRP negative values.

You need to take your ODU outside. I was having similar issues when I first installed mine inside. The speed was good sometime and bad sometimes. I decided to mount it outside. Since then, cell reception has been amazing.

I do think the reception, especially for 491,3256 is good enough. Bands 8 and 3 are 'Excellent', according to the router app but perform worse than band7.

It will definitely perform better when mounted outside. The fact that you are getting good signal indoor, shows that coverage in your location is good. However, the performance will improve significantly when mounted outside.

The thing is that performance was excellent when it was first mounted, the first 5 days or so, and signal hasn't changed since then. It even got marginally better.

Mounting the ODU outside is really not feasible for me.

I don’t know what’s wrong with my network since two days ago, I have been having this issue where my network get throttle, I will be having like 0.9 Mbps, for 2-3 hours. It happened yesterday and it happened today again in the afternoon, same time as yesterday, after sometime it comes back to regular speed . I’ve tried everything, the band lock, the cell lock, everything that has been recommended here.

It's the zlt so I don't have option to choose 3g only, I don't think it's network based anyways. Maybe throttling from airtel directly. Any solutions please?

Most times, I get the full 50Mbps speed. I guess yours is not mounted outside, right?

These days 3G no dey even browse again. Na 491,3256 I dey manage now.

Suffered from this alot. Speed drops significantly at night and I can only streamed on low resolution.

Luckily, last week I started getting 5G signals and have locked to the cell. Consistent speed even at evening hours when network usually goes bad.

I have been damned lucky. Even my x25 pro is getting consistent 50Mbps+ speed unlike before when I could only manage 17 or 20Mbps max on it.

Likely unstable when doing the readings even on video stream quality it might buffer or might be a glitch in the readings
