owobokiri:Why is it that Islam is the only one that supply these terrorists? Is something not grievously and fundamentally wrong with Islam? |

ayo84:The Syrian President (a deadly terrorist) had a $10m bounty on his head 12 months ago (a CIA agent just like our current president, allegedly), now he is loved by the USA. Even Osama bin Laden was once a CIA agent when he was fighting the Solvents. Remember that time one of our military officers made a press conference and said Boko Haram member can one day become president of Nigeria? It was a shameful statement but it is possible (making it a true statement). |

owobokiri:They always had terrorist problem. I remember 4 years ago when the French were still around, in one attack 200 men fell (but I don't think the French has lost even a single soldier, it was just the local troops that kept falling into traps). |

faceland:Traore has stepped on many toes he should not have. He created enemy with France that have been protecting his region for a long time. He pull out of ecowas, and told US to go to hell. This is simply an international game by big boys. The main focus is to remove military junta headed by Traore from power and chase the insurgents out of that enclave to pave way for a loyal civilian government. |

BondRiv:Now, that the Islamist are about to takeover Bamako, do your maths. What exactly were the French getting in return? What many here fail to understand is that the French are actually giving more than they are taking. These Francophone are a projection of power by France, and nothing else. Do you know the last time the CFA was devalued? What exactly are the French benefiting in Mali? Putting boots on ground is very expensive. I calculated that every soldier the sent the US sent to Iraq or Afghanistan equated to $1m in spending. When the US had about 130,000 soldiers in Iraq, it was spending around $130bn yearly. For the French, let's put a figure of $500,000 per soldier. Just placing 5,000 soldiers on ground would cost the French treasury about $2.5bn a year, Macron was dumbfounded when the generals kicked out the French army. It made no sense. Instead, it turned to Russia for help. Putin, whose rrmy is bugged down in Ukraine agreed to take the French place. Was Putin doing it for free? What was Putin getting in return? |

grandstar:Your arguments go against reason. If it was costing them so much and they were benefiting nothing, why were they still there? Were you born yesterday and trying to learn how the world works? Even what you dismissed as a mere projection of power is very important in this world of perceptions. Image is everything. They were there for much more. |

faceland:Some of you keyboard warriors just type out whatever random thoughts that your brain wave brings to you. How can you call the president a CIA agent just because he is not of the same party with you. |

FarahAideed:You better be guided you don't put yourself in trouble. If DSS pick you up to explain the information you have about Abuja being "months away from being overrun" you'll begin crying like a baby after 4 hours in a cell. Some of you think you are anonymous but don't understand that is not really the case. Watch yourself. Don't say I did not warn you. |

WizardOfNG:Pick me , am I a bandit ...if the govt doesn't go fight the bandits and keeps playing with them then that's will be the end result ...are you seeing how bandits are moving about with weapons freely and the govt is just looking? They have taken over 20 local govts in Katsina as we speak ..how far is Katsina to Abuja ...better tell Tinubu to wake up to his responsibility |
| Re: Jihadist Are About To Take Over Mali Capital by faceland: 6:37pm On Nov 21, 2025 |
horlando30:I want to say Tinubu is a CIA Asset not agent... and my statement has nothing to do with useless political parties, tribe or religion identity... Go and so your research. |
| Re: Jihadist Are About To Take Over Mali Capital by WizardOfNG: 7:06pm On Nov 21, 2025 |
FarahAideed:Is something wrong with you? Check my past post to see if I have excuses or sympathy for bandits. I am just warning you to be careful with your utterances and not say thing you will implicate yourself with. As far as I know, and before Trump’s threat, I was the only Nairalander who spoke of the impunity and complicity of Northern leaders in abetting terror with how I cited Gumi's audacious warning that Nigerian armed forces should not "provoke" bandits after so called peace talks. Every Nairalander missed that subtle threat of Gumi that indicate Northerners think we are all at their mercy. Thought-provoking announcement from Gumi for Nigerians who think critically in search of solutions. Overall, the problem with most of you is that you always react emotionally most time problems arise. You don't calm down to think critically of feasible and workable solutions. If you think Tinubu becoming Rambo , to then go into the North and wipe out terrorist with a supergun, is the solution then best advice I can give your kind is to Japa with your loved ones and leave the search for solutions to unemotional adults who can think like men. |

BondRiv:Please give me an example of what the French will benefit for sending troops to Mali? Start. It is an erroneous belief that a country must have something to gain when they assist another. Based on what you said, Nigeria should have folded its arms when civil war erupted in Liberia and Sierra Leone. This are no longer the days of the Cold War when Western countries courted dictators to prevent them from becoming leftist Socialist states. Once the Cold War ended, support of these sons-of-bitches dictators ended as well. Mugabe and Mobutu were just two examples. |

FreeStuffsNG:Every country in sahel is facing the same thing . Obama is singularly responsible . The only thing i love is USA puppets in Europe is facing the consequences of their own foolishness .let more migration boats reach them . You want to destroy Sahel countries ,now enjoy payback . Like Indian foreign minister said , Europe problems are world problems ,but any other problems caused by them is for individual countries to solve .and it is none of their business . |
