Kanu is not looking for amnesty. He said he didn't do anything. Let him come out to ask for forgiveness. He's neither deaf nor dumb.

All the people calling for his release are terrorists sympathisers. The dss should arrest them.
...and your darling Gumi is what, if I may ask?

Bigotry and tribal hatred have killed this country

If government use illegal means like rendition from Kenya catch Kanu, how dem fit justify the case?
Na the same law dem dey break to prosecute am. That one no make sense at all.

As a grammarian, I know you understand that extraordinary times require extraordinary measures. The only party truly justified in complaining about the circumstances of his arrest is the Kenyan government.

If any criminal deserves to be pardoned, certainly it's not Kanu! He is arrogant, cocky, unremorseful, and above all, very empty! He thinks he's feared — he will find out differently among his fellow inmates. The Adamus, and Ciromas of this world inside the highly militarised underground prison somewhere in Yola will teach him unforgettable lessons!
And ur moniker says Chris like. Thats why Christianity has now become a joke

That doesn't mean we voted him and will still not vote him even as we are now in apc.The north made him president and have rejected him now. They will still determine his fate in in 2027 but not SW.We don't need pardon from him. This is the worst he can do or is thr anything left. That is why we said he should do his worst and that region

Chill, bro. Let my Yoruba people continue to romance with the Fula people. Our eyes don dey clear small small. Bubu took Kanu and gave him to a Yoruba clown to 'finish' him up. Na so Yorubas come become errand boys to the Fula Fula. By the time they kill all of us finish na then we go wise, but it will be too late. Why not just let the Fula people finish what they started? Una come put everything on top una head. Yeye saboteurs. Yorubas playing politics with the lives of their people. It's called mumunism. Yoruba odale!!!

Anyway you see the nigeria uniform personnel's attack and kill them, and they arrested you but court granted you bail... and you jumped bail. You wanted PMB head and PMB hunt fir you and arrested you in Kenya and brought you to face charges....Nigeria is zoo and Nigeria made you an animal...you stated crying.... court ask to defend yourself you said no that you have no case that the judge don't know law and now the law sent you to prison..... now please grant him pardon grant him pardon. Before going to that pardon it's time to start publishing those killed by kanus order one by one and all the atrocities he committed brainwashing the gullible igbos who thought kanu has anything to offer not knowing he is just bread in a poll of water.Ya gazienu umu igbo. Lesson propaganda will never take you to any where.

we are a confused people, we are calling for terrorists to be wiped out and a terrorist is convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment and we are here begging for a pardon? Then we should have said we only want muslim terrorists to be dealt with.

Nigeria is gone. I am weeping for Nigeria. Most of the leaders and the people are embracing evil, the judiciary has failed, lawlessness is of the highest, the real terrorist are patted with kids gloves and later recruited in key sensitive position and in the military. Our leaders and politicians are just after their pocket, power and weaponizing poverty. It's to painful. God will bless MNK; he is standing his ground to the end; a real soldier, upon all the injustice meet on him. Real there is no law the sentence was just an order.

If clemency will help calm the South-East, fine. But we must also talk about the massacres happening in the North. Whole communities are being wiped out daily with no accountability. Nigeria cannot heal selectively.
What about the IPOB killings in the southeast, on whose head should those slained people be tied to? Whose directives were the ESN following? Because you are not in any way affected by the mayhem Kanu's men caused doesn't mean the family of the deceased people doesn't deserve justice.

You’re absolutely right, every innocent life lost in the South-East also deserves justice. No region has a monopoly on pain, and no family should suffer because of any group’s actions.

My point is simple: justice must be comprehensive.
If we address killings linked to IPOB, we should also address the killings in the North. If we prosecute offenders in one region, we must equally go after those causing destruction in others.

Selective justice doesn’t unite a country, balanced justice does.

Yes, abducting Bello Turji from Niger would be equally wrong and illegal for the same reason a government that breaks international law to enforce its own laws fundamentally destroys the moral and legal foundation of its case, becoming indistinguishable from the criminals it claims to fight. The issue is not the target, but the method when the state acts as a lawbreaker, it forfeits its legitimacy and any subsequent "justice" is a sham.

A criminal must be found repentant before pardon can be granted ..Kanu kept behaving arrogantly in the law court ,abusing everybody even when he ought to show the world that he regrets the consequences of his actions . Many lost their lives and properties yet he felt less concerned ..

Okay, I get you. Let’s stay on track! Was it wrong of America to have gone into Pakistan to kill Osama Bn Laden?
Was Isreal wrong to have killed Ismail Haniye in Iran?

Even our Lord Jesus Christ expects a sinner to be remorseful and to ask God for forgiveness. Christianity is never a joke — Kanu is! A criminal who wants the government to fear, pamper and worship him!
Re: Grant Nnamdi Kanu Pardon, Nigeria Needs Healing” - Reps Member Begs Tinubu by lilsmart(m): 7:43am On Nov 21, 2025
That comparison is flawed. The U.S. and Israel were conducting extraterritorial military or intelligence operations against non state actors and designated terrorist leaders in ungoverned or hostile territories, operating in a global gray zone of counter-terrorism. Nigeria, however, is a constitutional state bound by its own laws and international treaties.

Fact

How many times have you called for the arrest of Gumi.

How many times have you called for the arrest of those meeting with kidnnapers and terrorists.

Those terrorists they reintegrated into Nigerian army and called them repentant Boko haram...how many times have you said something about it.

So how about Gular and Prof Dora life
And the hundreds of other lives lost to the sit at home enforcement and other related atrocities in the South East. And not forgetting the lives and properties lost during the EndSars issue through Kanu's instigation and broadcasts.

Anybody pleading for Kanu should be treated as a Terrorist sympathizer. It is that simple.

Same Kanu that is being probably beaten blue black inside the prison in a certain remote prison by other inmates; D cheesy

Which Government will free such a dangerous, unrepentant criminal whose mob murdered lot of people at his direction.

May Kanu rot in jail with his foolish ideology.

You guys are just clutching at the straw.

The Supreme court had taken a position on the bolded. The Supreme court stated that Kanu was a FUGITIVE prior to his arrest and so he is not protected by any law.

So, why did you ignore that Kanu was a Fugitive prior to him being bundled from Kenya like a cat?

You made a valid point brother. Just like you, I am not an advocate of selective judgement, I hate to see injustice tread in the light of the day, But while keeping this feeling in mind, one have to look at our judicial system — how completely messed up it is. I understand you are not being sentimental when you say "No region has a monopoly on pain, and no family should suffer because of any group’s actions" but here in our country our system is totally corrupted that it is of no novelty to every living being in this country that no matter the little effort we take on tackling the insecurities in other regions, particularly the north; the perpetrators are always one step ahead of us.

The Fulani herdsmen now named (bandits) and the Boko Haram terrorists troubling this nation should be of chief concern to our government, but because their hands are not clean in this operation, we are yet to be freed from the attacks of these wicked immigrants.
Only God and maybe some foreign interference can bring balanced justice once again into our country.
