Hi everyone, has anyone used a gift deed from a family member in Canada as POF for PR application? How did the family member transfer the funds (from Canadian bank) to the Naira account? Was it Western Union or bank-to-bank? Thank you. |

Chrisagwunobi:1. The employment requirements in education for a teacher are as follows: - Teachers of academic subjects require a bachelor's degree in education which is often preceded by a bachelor's degree in the arts or sciences. - Teachers of vocational or technical subjects require a bachelor's degree in education which is usually preceded by specialized training or experience in the subject. 2. You can do either of CIMA certificate in business or ACCA foundation level. You can complete either of the two within two three months. Questions are objective, and syllabus to cover are the introductory stage of the courses. Thanks for the reply Does it mean that we don’t stand a chance in education category, with degrees that is not education. What are the options? For the short courses, so just doing the foundation level can qualify for Wes evaluation? |

Chrisagwunobi:1. You stand a chance but you will need certificate to qualify you a teacher. 2. Yes. Check your mail. |

Good evening, Plss asking for someone, when applying for Canada express entry trade test, is it better to apply as a single mother or as a single person? Please everyone Does she needs IELTS or any other English assessment exam? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by yingman: 6:10pm On Nov 21, 2025 |
You do not upload IELTS TRF or WES report manually. IRCC receives them electronically. When you filled your profile, you already entered TRF number and test dates. WES sends your ECA result directly to IRCC using your Express Entry file number. You only upload your degree certificate and transcript in the Education section. You can still upload them as supporting documents. Use the optional upload slot under “Letter of Explanation.” Combine the IELTS TRF and WES report into one PDF and attach it there. It is not required but it is allowed. Zeemaan: |

Yes, it has been done before. IRCC accepts gift deed as long as the money is genuinely transferred and the donor confirms it is a gift with no expectation of repayment. Most people used direct bank to bank transfer from Canadian account to Nigerian account. That is better than Western Union because bank transfer gives a clear transaction history showing sender name, recipient name, and date. You will need: • Gift deed sworn by the family member in Canada • Bank transfer receipt • Six month bank statement from your Nigerian account showing the gift deposit • ID of the donor Western Union is harder to explain because it does not show full sender identity and sometimes IRCC asks extra questions. Bank transfer is cleaner and easier during review. LadyW: |

Yes, she can apply. IRCC does not require the degree to be in education. What matters is that her reference letter for teaching job matches the NOC duties for teachers. For extra CRS points under two or more certificates, she needs: • One bachelor’s degree • Another post secondary program of at least one year with ECA Fast options that people used: • Postgraduate diploma in education • One year online diploma or certificate from recognised institution • TEFL or TESOL certificate for English teaching plus degree also works in some PNP streams Once she gets ECA for both, she qualifies for two or more certificates. Teaching experience is valid even without education degree as long as duties match NOC. Chrisagwunobi: |

Express Entry does not give extra points for being a single mother. CRS only checks if you are applying with a spouse or alone. So it is better to apply as single person without dependents. That gives higher CRS and lower proof of funds. If she has a child, she must declare the child but apply as principal applicant single. That is allowed and many have done it. This gives her better CRS for the trade test route. Funkey20: |

Zeemaan:Simply combine all Educational Certificates together in one PDF. Degree certificate Transcripts WES ECA IELTS TRF You can also add a LOE in the PDF explaning that the PDf contains the above listed documents. So in one PDF you will have LOE, Degree certificate, Transcripts, WES,IELTS and TRF. this PDF will be uploaded in the Education placeholder. |

Good morning everyone, please i want to ask questions concerning PR because am a bit confused. I run a Food Business as a side hustle and it is registered and i also have cooking shows and cooking competitions i have attended. I have a Bsc and also a Short course for in Culinary school. I will also be 30 by nextyear. My husband on the other hand is 32 and a logistics manager with over 5years of experience he is presently doing his MBA which will be completed by July next year. I’m aware there is a pathway of Trades to migrate to Canada but the draw rarely occurs, so i will like to know if my Husband is the PA what partway can he go through. I just need someone who knows so much about this journey to give me a guideline. |

slimturay:Take the French pathway (for him) Or add a second certificate (for you) and claim self employed. Plus French. |

Ontarioo:Please, when you say 'take the French path,' does it mean I need to take the TEF exam and then apply for Express Entry? That's it? I've been on this page trying to understand this French path. |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Hapikojie79: 3:38am On Nov 23, 2025 |
Ayrastarr:Take the French exam (TEF or TCF), pass the exam by getting the required results and fill it into your express entry profile. When the next French draw is done, if your points are within the benchmark for the Draw then you get your invitation to apply. |

codedarrow:As long as it's a valid credit card with sufficient balance to cover the payment you are good to go. |

yingman:Hello everyone. This might be a bit lengthy, but please, I need a bit of clarification. My spouse and I plan to apply for the Express Entry program. I am 25 years old, and I will be graduating soon with a Bachelor of Science degree. Business Administration. My spouse, on the other hand, is currently 29, holds only an OND, and owns businesses. We have both agreed to learn French and take the TEF exams. Now, my question is, 1. Are there any other certification exams I can write to boost our CRS score? 2. My spouse is also looking at getting a Diploma. Which course would you recommend she pursue? 3. We are also looking at me going into a healthcare assistant position. (I.e, doing the LASUTH 4-month caregiving course and then doing an Internship). Please note that throughout my career (I work and go to school), I have been working in the hospitality industry and have over 3 years of experience. Please, how do I transition? Please, all advice will be appreciated. Thank you. |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ontarioo: 7:57pm On Nov 23, 2025 |
Ayrastarr:1. You can take either of ACCA foundation level (diploma in accounting and business RQF Level 4) or CIMA certificate in business (ba1-ba4). But you'd need to be done with your Bachelors degree to qualify. Though there's no minimum entry qualifications for the ACCA foundation level, but you will only get equivalent evaluation required by IRCC from WES with the RQF Level 4. If you can't wait to be done with school, you can proceed to start from RQF Level 2 to 4. Send me a direct email if you don't understand this. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by TallNigerian: 11:40pm On Nov 23, 2025 |
Ayrastarr:1. Age is on your side, so be the principal applicant. Coupled with the fact that you will soon have a Bachelor degree. 2. There are quite a couple of short courses that you can take within 2-3 months to boost your CRS. Ontarioo should be able to advise you more on that. 3. Excellent idea. Get the HCA certificate and do your internship. If you can, try to lobby for a paid employment at the clinic where you did your internship or even request for a lower salary just to convince them. At the end, just make sure you have an offer letter and you are paid for a minimum of six months working full time. That makes you eligible for the healthcare category. I am confident that the healthcare category and French category aren't going out of vogue anytime soon. |

I slightly differ on this. Uploading ECA and Language proficiency test result in a single PDF is ok and enough, The ECA already shows that you have a degree and a recognized one. So uploading transcript and certificate is not needed, I simply uploaded my ECA and Language proficiency in on PDF and that sufficed. chimzyblack: |
